I am so lacking knowledge when purchasig a notebook. Any info you can provide me with is appreciated. Also, I notice the Acer is much cheaper than most; any thoughts? I currently own 2 dell desktops and had planned on going with them but the Acer is quite a bit cheaper, just don't know about the quality! Thanks all!

Ok, so this last week I worked out 5 days. 3 of the days I did weight lifting and then 30 minutes on the tred mill at a speed of 3.0 and an incline of about 7.5. The other days I did just cardio for 45 minutes speed of 3.0 and incline of 8. I am eating for breakfast 3 egg whites and a little form of carbs either a piece of wheat toast or a very small amount of hasbrowns. For lunch I normally have a turkey on wheat sandwhich with low fat may and a small amount of cheese for snacks I have carrots, oranges, and apples. Then for dinner I have a piece of chicken breast plain, i put tomato sauce with crushed red peppers and chopped garlic then on top I put a small amount of low at cheese and broil. The previous week when i wasn't doing weight lifting i lost 5 pounds this week (my first week weight lifting) I have only lost 1/2pound. What did I do wrong?

Wouldn't this save the country a lot of money? And once contractors found out it didn't pay to try to cheat us maybe they would stop. Corruption in our government is horrible and costly, let's get rid of them all! You wouldn't run a business long if you were giving your friends all of your money and not paying your investors.

A little blind girl goes up to her mum and says, "Mummy, mummy, when will I be able to see?"
Her mum replies "I'll tell you what, I'll take you to the chemist and get you some special cream for your eyes and you will be able to see in the morning."
So off they went to the chemist, got the cream, and went home, all the while the little girl was getting more and more excited at the prospect of being able to see again. Once they got home, the mother put the cream on the little girls eyes, wrapped a bandage around her head, and took her to bed.
The following morning the little girl stumbled into her mums bedroom and excitedly shouted "Quick mummy, take off the bandage so that i will be able to see again."
So the mother slowly took of all the bandages, taking her time, and all the while the little girl was getting more and more excited. Once they were off the little girl said "But mummy, I still can't see."
To which the mother replied, "April fool!"

I would much rather spend my time alone and dread even having to see my own family. I feel like its a chore instead of something to be happy about. I won't even talk to my friends anymore. Im around 280 now but its not so much fat. Ive been looking for a better way to eat bc exercise is no problem for me...i actually enjoy it....just the eating part is a problem bc idk where to begin. I know i should have my daily fruit an veggie intake as well as maybe some meat but, for snacks an such would things such as maybe pretzels or pickles be a good thing? I know they are high in sodium but if ate as a snack meaning...not alot ....would this help?

the second anyone does the same against them, the cries of injustice come winging out? Anyone?
I'm referring mainly to the bullsh!t attitude that people who are bi are more likely to be unfaithful, are 'confused', can't make up their minds, are selfish, etc. Society has FINALLY gotten over the attitude that gay people are promiscuous drug-using freaks (well, the right-wing religious nuts still think gay people are like that, but who really cares what they think?), so why is there this bias against biosexuals in the gay community? Personally, I think it's jealousy and sour grapes. Some of us are attracted to PEOPLE, not a penis or vagina.
So why the fear and mistrust?

My brother just found out that he is going to be a daddy. He is 23 years old and his fiance is 21. She is the baby. She has 2 older sisters and 2 older brothers and 2 older half sisters. She was spoiled rotten to say the least. My family has always been able to "get by". She has decided that she wants to go anywhere from 50-100 miles away for each doctor visit and to have the baby...this of course will cost a lot in gas. She only makes 150/week if she continues to work. They do not have their own home yet mind you. She has also made mention that eventhough she is reluctantly willing to get on medicaid that she does not want anything to do with WIC because that is for "nasty people" and she doesn't want to take any "stupid parenting classes". She just mentioned to my mother that she plans to get a Vera Wang Diaper Bag...I am so outraged. None of her siblings have any children and she being so childish and unrealistic. How do I get through to her?

I work for an insurance company. Here are some of the things I do:
-Generate weekly newsletter and email to our subscriber base
-Scan the internet looking for mentions of our company and our competitors
-Oversee our company web site and make changes as needed (not an IT person, though - no formal training)
-Monitor web traffic to our site
-Write emails, create marketing pieces (mostly text) as directed by our company president and my supervisor
-Come up with ideas for new ways to sell our insurance products
-Attend trade shows and mingle with people
-A lot of work directly from the company president, such as correspondance to emails he gets.

They never really gave me a title for this job. It started as CSR since I was taking calls initially, but havent for about 18 months now. I want to apply for other jobs but am not sure what to put as job title, as CSR is misleading.

Is this a marketing director? Marketing & Communications director? Internet Marketing Specialist? What else?

My husband and I have been married for almost seven months. Since we have been married we have had many, many problems. He has had a very large problem keeping a job, and I am unable to work because I am a college student. I know that he has difficulty finding a job due to the fact that he is the "babysitter" while I am at school for out six month old son. However, I believe that he could work an evening job somewhere, which I have done in the past.
We also have problems with our marriage because he feels as if it is my responsibility to do everything around the house. I don't feel like I should be responsible for everything since he works three hours five days a week. We want to work things out, however, we are not at this point sure that it is possible. He also spends more time with his friends than he does at home. What suggestions does anyone have about what we should do concerning our marriage? Only serious answers will be considered for the best answer.

I've posted this before in pets section and didn't really get any useful information. I figure there's got to be some hunters with beagles with the same problem. My dog gets these ear problems constantly, brown waxy stuff builds up, she contstantly scratches at them and the ears have a very nasty smell. One ear is good and doesn't have much problem, but the other one constantly needs cleaning.

Based on the advice from my vet I clean out the ears from top to bottom with AloeCetic and then use q tips and cotton balls to clean the ear canals and ear. Then I let it dry and put Neosporin on it. I have to do this once or twice a week. The vet took some cultures and determined that it wasn't an infection. In a nutshell, he said to keep the dogs ears dry. I explained to him this was an outdoor dog in a very rainy state (WA) that is in the field a lot, so this isn't too practical. Does anyone have any other ideas I could try?
