I booked and paid for a hotel room online through priceline. my name was the only person on the agreement to check into my room. it is stated on the priceline agreement that i must show identification and the credit card i used at check in. the hotel has "we check ID" on a sign at the check in counter. However a girl that i know checked into my room before I did. the hotel clerk showed me the forged signature, I showed him my ID and went to my room, none of my things were in the room yet, so the girl must have returned to my room later during the week that I stayed. just a couple days before check out i noticed that my laptop was missing. I called her and she said she had it and i could buy it back from her! Do you think i have a case?

A fellow teacher and I got hired this year. We are both the same age and fresh out of college. We do NOT have contracts - we are permanent subs. So, I hope this lays the foundation for - possibly - why she is so undermindingly competitive. Seems like she takes the reigns before there is an opportunity presented; just to know she took control. She doesn't willingly share any resources - at least with me. Seems as if she wants to buddy up with our OTHER team member (also young and new). I know that somehow she feels threatened by me somehow and is wanting to "one up" me somehow all the time. It's ANNOYING. Not only this, she is more like a friend to the kids than anything else. So, as a new teacher, OF COURSE I'm bothered by the kids who THINK she's just the "coolest." I know that I do my best and now I've just said...screw it..and have been doing my own thing. BUT, it bothers me still that she does this. Is this normal? How do any of you cope with this??

I have a 12 yr old cousin whom i adore. He has alot of problems at home with two parents that never get along and do not live together. His mom lives with his Grandma who is severely depressed since she lost her husband last year. Whenever Christmas or his birthday roll around, i always send him a gift for each, even thought they are only a month apart. Previously i would ask him what he wanted and just send it. It's usually a new PSP game or a game for his Xbox. They usually run me about $50 so i send him something smaller for the other occasion. I know he loves me but he never even lets me know when he receives it and he certainly has never said thank you. I live in Florida and he lives in Michigan. I know he was upset when i moved out of state since he would call me out of the blue to go out to eat or he would just stop by on his bicycle just to say hi. Any suggestions on how i can avoid hurting his feelings since he really is just a kid & let him know he's being impolite?

I have an 1100 square foot home and am quite pragmatic, I have 3 small dogs, one of whom doesn't seem to train well for potty training, I am sick with M.E and can't do things the normal way due to stress intolerance,and I'd like to get a floor that is not carpet that I can throw cheap rugs or carpet pieces on, but linoleum is expensive and i am broke, but there must be a way to to go something like linoleum that doesn't aborb dog pee. I don't care about looks, only survival here and please,no lectures on training dogs, I've had dogs all my life and I just need an answer to can this be done and cheaply

Somethings just not right with this picture to me...the NFL still hoped Vicks might come back after his suspension - after he raised, trained and fought LOTS of dogs. Now that he's been found with marijuana in his system he may not be able to come back. I for one think he should have lost his contract and any chances of coming back after the dog charges. What message is this sending to the children... abuse and train animal to hurt each other...just don't use pot?

A couple of weeks ago a few peolpe wanted to know if any of us who had asked questions about maybe being pregnant or having the symptoms - if they were actually pregnant?
