During the Democratic debate in New Hampshire yesterday, John Edwards was emphatic about removing the troops from Iraq ASAP. That indicates that Iraq and possibly the whole Middle East could be under the control of Iran or other Islamic Jihadist countries. Was he advocating that the US become an isolationist country? And that he would not lift a finger if the entire Middle East turns hostile towards the US and our foreign interest. And what if Iran attakcs Israel, or if Israel does a pre-empted strike agains Iran? Will he play like FDR during early on in WWII Europe? I'm all for bringing the troops home but isn't Edwards intention careless and dangerous?

He wasn't really the first one to the New World.
He helped destroy the Native Americans.
He got lost and thought he was in India.
He helped create the evil European takeover of the New World.
Blah blah blah.

If you were out in the middle of the ocean with your aging mother and a very young son, a freak wave capsized your boat and you have only a very small lifedraft and you could only save one of the two.

Who would you save, and why and what culture are you influenced by?

Over a year ago, i found my head was sore and then found lumps forming on it. First on the right side, then on the left… they finally reached each other to form some type of crease all around my head. I found this odd so I got the doctors to check it out and after a CAT Scan and skull x-ray, they found nothing and put it aside. I then also got diagnosed with migraines. After a while, the lumps disappeared on the left, but now they are back and seem to be tender again. Sometimes my migraines seem to be formed within them or right under them. Can someone give their opinion?

Okay, so...I've been searching for colleges and I would like to become a vet. I heard that I need to get my Vet Tech or Vet Assistance degree first then go to a real veterinary school. I'm guessing Vet Tech and Vet Assistance are the same? Well, I was looking into JU here in Florida and the offer a program called "Pre-Veterinary Medicine". What is the difference between this and the two others I mentioned? I just don't get it...

Thanks!!!

Is the contraction of objects traveling at very high speeds real, or is it juast a optical phenomenon, an ilusion? Why does it happen? What do pepole actually know about it until now? was it proved through experiments, like time dilation, or is it just a completely theoretical thing?

It seems pretty normal to me that we percive objects traveling at high speeds longer, but that's just the eye fooling us, and it's got mothing to do with phizics.

im stuck in new york right now, and need to get to ohio. my brakes make a horrible grinding sound when i brake, but its only been doing it about 5 days. i bought brake pads for 20 bucks, but it would take 60 to change them, which i just cant afford. i need all of my money for gas. i need to get down to kentucky which is 700 miles away. i wont be making to much stops though, not anymore than i would in town. would i be okay if i just went ahead and left? i have people that can do it for free once i get there.
