In the first place, this is what I've been stating all along, like Percy Ross. We, Like F.D.R. should have stayed an Isolationist state. Bring our troops home. If you think for one moment that Israel needs a hand in the Middle East think again. They've been chomping at the bit for a long time. We, the U.S. have been holding them off from starting an all out WW3 with half the Arab nations and, I think they could hold their own. In a pinch I think we'd finally go in, to help mop up.
We have become a Police state in the fact that we are on call to settle the affairs of every nation that has to be calmed down, at the price of our young men and now, women, while other states like France and Germany stand by and complain about the problems we create. I'm tired of hearing them, myself.
I was in 'Nam for two tours, up North, the only other countries I ever saw there were our real friends Australia and the British. I knew the Turks and some others like the Italians were there.
Let some other countries go in on the next one, let them send their young men and women to die for someone else and then complain.

The fact is that it doesn't matter who becomes our next President. There is no Republican or Democrat, it's left & right hands, connected to the same brain. It's an illusion to give people the feeling like they have a say in what goes on. Our government leaders especially the Presidency, happens to be nothing more than a glorified puppet show at this point. Go ask 10 people on the streets who prints the money in their wallets. More than likely they will say the government. There is nothing Federal or Reserve about the people who print our money, they are untouched by our government & they control our country. Their agenda is the ONLY one that will come to fruition. Research for the truth, it will surely set you free.

Why are people so afraid of leaving Iraq? Do you think an 8-million-person Islamic Jihadist army is going to start marching out of the Middle East and conquer everything in its path? Will the threat of terrorism increase to more than it is already? Do you think the Iraqi Kurds and Sunnis will welcome Iran into their country? Do you think Saudi Arabia (which is Sunni) will allow Iran (which is Shiia) to take over Iraq?
Sunnis and Shiites have been at each others throats for centuries. It is a much deeper and more virulent hatred than they have for us. Right now the United States is the common enemy of all Muslims because we occupy Iraq. If the United States leaves, how long do you think it will be before they become their own enemy, again?
They won't care about us. Only Bin Laden cares about us, and with our troops out of Iraq, we would be able to concentrate on our real enemy.

What have we done about Burma? Tibet? and several other countries where peaceful people are being tortured, enslaved, and killed...Iraq is full of fundamentalists. The Christians, Muslims, and Judaists are unstable people ruled by crazy violent religions and I hope their religions come to an end ASAP!!! (you can say that abrahamic religions are peaceful but all 3 order it's followers to kill unbelievers) Sadaam was a bad man but he was the leader of many conflicting extremists, when we took him out of power we saw why it took such a bad man to control those people.
