How does anyone feel about this? Good? Bad?

If I lived in Va, my tax dollars better not be going to house a bunch of criminal illegal aliens.
Ship them out of here- don't feed them-
Everybody knows what happens when you feed a stray it stays
Whatever happened to the "we just come here for a better life illegal"- you know there must be a heck of alot that are just flat out no good if Virgina is thinking about building a jail just for them.
And why would the Hispanic community feel they were being targeted if a jail was built just for illegals- Is there that many of them that are not in this country legally and happen to commit crimes while here? If that is the case maybe the Hispanic community should consider taking out the trash- so to speak.

what is it about Illegal immigration do they not understand? Va said nothing about Hispanics. If hispancis didnt dominante much of the illegal immigration community they wouldnt have to worry about this. I dont even know why its a topic for debate. They like citizens should be held responsible for their crimes. Especially if they are illegal, they shouldnt just serve jail time. They should also be deported. This law or requirement should have BEEN in effect.

It's only a good thing. It's about time they did something like this. It's bad enough to be an illegal immigrant but when they commit crimes, it makes it twice bad and something needs to get done. Sending them back to where they come from isn't good enough, they'd find their way back to commit more crimes. Put them in jail for a very long time and make it a chain gang prison. Maybe we can get SOME work out of them.

I have mixed emotions on this one. I DEFINITELY think they should spend time in jail and be convicted for their crimes, but at the same time, they are STILL here and the tax payers will be paying for that jail to be built. We will also be paying for their meals and their play stations and big screne tv's they'll be watching. So it's a good idea to a certain extent. They STILL need to be sent out of our country.

OH GREAT a special jail just for illegal aliens who commit crimes! Why aren't they being deported? Why should they have their own jail? If they commit a crime let's have them serve their time in our prisons and be gang raped by our own American gangs! I'm all for putting illegals in jail just long enough to deport them and no longer and this jail isn't even for those whose only crime is breaking and entering the US without permission.. THOSE are the ones we need to find and deport.

It's great! Every state needs one. The sooner we get the illegals out of this country and out of the jobs they take from legal Americans, the better off this country will be!

Good idea. It keeps criminal illegals out of the general population for their own safety and to prevent the spread of additional diseases among the American criminal population and makes it easier for ICE to locate them for deporation. Win-win.

I think they are trying to address the 'in with murderers and rapists' aspect, plus the fact that families together require a different sort of infrastructure.
I assume it is good.
