I dont got a lotta cash and my parents are going to be finished working in a few years. I want to ship them off to a hippie commune where they get free food shelter and medical care and just have to chip in 40 hours of work. They also get a great social life. I wouldnt be ina hippie commune myself because Im still a young man and being in a commune is like being in a computer game it may feel good but it aint real. But its a great place to retire so why dont they just do it? Plus u dont have to put any money in to join. And then id get my parents house.

Unlike the rivalry that Sir Aryton Senna and Sir Alain Prost shared, there is no respect that either Lewis or Alonso have for each other - neither on the track, nor off it !

Both are equal at antiques. If Lewis disobeys his team in the qualifiers and doesn't let Alonso pass, Alonso goes wheel to wheel at the races and nudges Lewis off the track. Its all ok at times. But it seems to be getting a bit out of hand now. I agree that both the drivers are pumped up, but at the end of the day, you must possess a quality called RESPECT !

When Mr. Senna passed away, Mr. Prost said, "A part of me has died as well". This is what I wanna see in the present generation of drivers like Alonso and Lewis.

Star this question if you agree with me !

I am looking to purchase a professional SLR film camera off ebay to replace my Nikon N65 (that was stolen on a trip). I really like shooting black and white on film (even though I know film is obsolete). I figured since film cameras are so cheap now... I could probably afford to get a very nice one for really cheap. I am not partial to any particular brand.. What camera (and type of lens) should I get? What types of lenses should I stay away from.

Is there a better camera than a Nikon N65 that would make sense for me to get because the price is just as cheap?

Thanks,
Scott

my real estate law is long forgotten. However I know there is a law that stipulates that if a property owner unknowingly uses adjacent property belived to be his it does become that persons property after a number of years.

I have 3 cavities needing to be filled. One or two of the three in the front I think.
My dentist recommended that I get ZOOM teeth whitening done, THEN get the white fillings matched to the new shade of my teeth.
I read the consent form for Zoom and it said something about open cavities and the bleaching gel getting into will cause substantial pain.
So then why is my dentist not doing my fillings first, then the ZOOM?
Also, I have mild/moderate generalized enamel hypoplasia and she said the ZOOM would blend all my white spots in (and my teeth are a bit yellow to begin with).
I did read something about ZOOM being less effective on white spots...so am I going to end up with blotches?
What are your opinions?
BTW, I have heard having ZOOM done is like chewing on tinfoil.

There was once an old man and a parrot living all alone together for like 40 years.
One day, the parrot came to the old man and said, "you know, I've never had a woman in my life."
So the old man, as a favour to his best friend, went to the pet store and talked the owner into letting him use a female parrot for one night for the fee of 40 dollars.
He took the female home, put it into the cage with his parrot, covered the cage and went to bed. He was awoken in the middle of the night to the female parrot screaming she was being killed.
He ran out and pulled the cover off the cage. There he saw his male parrot ripping all the feathers off of the female. "What the hell are you doing?" the old man screamed.
The parrot replied, "Are you kidding, for 40 dollars, I at least want the b*tch naked!"

Why did they not attend the inquest. They were witnesses. Yet another way to protect them??. As I understand a witness have to be called.. I wonder how Manchester Police stopped that. Yes they acted right they stood by and called in. Wow what a neat and clever thing to do. I am trained in C.P.R.. Would I use it on them.. Of course I would..But then I am a Real Superman..I prefer to be called a human being. There is no excuse for not even getting in the water and at least trying. If you try and dont suceed you have at least tried. My feelings go out to his mother. To loose a child is one thing but this way???

I have a Dell Inspiron E1700 2.0 GHz Intel Dual Core processor with 1 GB of ram and a 7200 rpm hard drive and I just installed Office 2007 on it. All the programs seem to run a little slow, but Excel is ridiculous! I can barely get anything done. If I try to make the contents of a cell bold, I have to wait about 30 seconds from the time that I hit the bold key to the time that it actually turns bold. Same with underlining, inserting rows/columns, copying, pasting. I reinstalled it once already to see if that fixed it, but it didn't. Is anyone else having this problem or does anyone know how to speed it up?

Mine has to be when my uncle died and we were supposed to walk behind the hearse to the cemetary. Before the car could move the driver was handed a tape to play out loud through the loud speakers while we walk as per Filipino tradition dictates.
Since my uncle was an Elvis fan, my aunts decided that sad-sounding Elvis ballads be played. My stupid-*** cousins picked up the greatest hits collection instead of the ballads selection tape.
With everybody crying in the background, the music started to play...
"It goes one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready now go cat gooo!!!"
The cries turnd into laughter.
The driver scrambled to change the song and pressed the "next" button....
"you ain't nuthing but a hound dog, barking all the tiiime!"

Man-oh-man, that shoot was funny as hell.
I'd bet my uncle was laughing in heaven too.

Context: Man A is telling Man B about Chinese taboos:

[A]: Yin1 wei4 song4 zhong1 gen1 zhong1guo2 zi4 "song4zhong1" tong2yin1. Dui4 ta1 lai2 shuo1, ni3 song4 ta1 zhong1 jiu4 hao3xiang4 yao4 ta1 zao3 yi2dian3 si3 yi2yang4.
English translation from text book = "Because the pronunciation of "givng a clock" is the same as "making arrangements for the burial of one' parents" in Mandarin. For her, getting a clock means the same as hoping she will pass away soon."

Reply from man B:

[B]: Wo3 de tian1! Wo3 gen1ben3 mei2 xiang3 dao4 zhe4 yi2dian3.

English translation = "Oh my God, I had no idea!"

Help with this question, please:

"yi2dian3" is used in both sentences A & B. Based on context and English translation, what is the defenition of "yi2dian3" in A& B?

I treid using online dictionaries, but one gave me false translation, while the other gave me no translation at all.

ALSO, Does the word Zi4 in [A] mean "character"?

Mandarin speakers, thank you for your help.
