Well, here's a thought. You know this is going to be funny at some point in the future. So, why not just accept that you are human and laugh now. Also, learn to do some deep breathing and gentle stretching before the game to relax. Hey, you're young, life is supposed to be fun, even when you mess up. When I played football, I was a drawback and I never did figure out where the drawback lines up on the field! peace little bro.

"A just man falleth a bazillion times, and riseth up again." Many of the world's great achievements have resulted after much failure. Don't quit. Keep trying.

haha last year at the homecoming football game i had to perform for cheerleading and i completely screwwed up we were cross tumbling and i slipped and just ran instead of doing my tumbling then the rest of the routine was completely off because of my mistake!
so dont worry everyone makes mistakes! so look back at them, laugh and learn! <3 good luck

It's ok :) Truthfully you were the only one who noticed. I am a professional singer and in my concerts I have messed up on the lyrics and pretend that I didn't and made up words to put in the song as I was singing hoping no one noticed! No one noticed! We are our worse critic! The times I sing and think I suck people tell me it's the best they've heard me. Don't be so hard on yourself sweetie. Have a blessed day!

one of the first steps to living life is learning how to block out fear. there is nothing in this world that you should be afraid of and #1 on that list is what people think about you. if you embarrass yourself in any way, laugh at youself along with the others. hope that helped =)
dont let anything bring you down,
you'll get em next time =)

Keep practicing and you'll get it right eventually. Don't worry so much about embarassing yourself, everybody messes up. It's a normal part of life. Celebrate your mistakes; they're the best way to see what you should be doing to get it right next time!
Also, most folks tend to forget bad performances faster than they forget the good ones. You'll feel better sooner than you think. =)
Best wishes!

It’s not like you miscalculated your company’s financial statements up by five million dollars. It’s not like you accidentally left your wallet around a bunch of ex-cons. It’s not like you're lactose intolerant and you had a gallon of ice cream before your solo in the church choir. And its not like all of your friends jumped off a bridge and went along too. Just concentrate and practice harder for the next game.

None of us are perfect. Don't be too hard on yourself. Never give up and be sure to always give it your best. Think of it like there is always a team to lose, at the Oscars/Grammys not everyone wins.
It is completely natural to goof up. Just keep your head up.

That's what practice is for. Keep practicing and your skills will improve. Stay positive, when negative thoughts enter your mind the errors will happen in real life
