I have a dodge 200 caravan. I have 89000 mile on it. It seem to be running a little at idle. It will lose power when the AC is on. Could it be the fuel filter clogged? Where is that located? And could it be the air filter dirty? How do I replace that? I tried and could not open the box it is in.

These are things that should be checked at your local repair shop.If you try to make your own repairs it will cost more in the long run.Plus if you foul any thing up it could make your caravan unsafe to drive.

fuel filter is a part of the sender-pump unit in the gas tank. yes air filter can make a car sluggish. case separates by screws or snap clips. also inspect the spark plugs. but if you can't even get at the air filter maybe you should take it to a shop or have a mechanically inclined friend give you a hand.

I think you should take it to a shop. You will be better off in the long run. Good luck to you.
