Two years ago, my husband tore my world apart by telling me he had slept with a co-worker. For a week, we tried to work it out, but after that, he told me he wanted a divorce. He has been with her ever since and I have been putting my life together again with my daughter. I can even say I'm happy and I'm doing okay. So here it is - my sister, who is six months pregnant, told me last night that she and her husband are having a daughter (had the ultrasound that day) and that they were going to name her Petra, which horrifyingly enough, is the name of the woman my ex is with now. Everytime I hear her name, I still almost feel like dying inside, and I just can't believe my sister could do this. She said she's always loved this name so much and that maybe this will be a way for me to heal and not associate the name with so much hatred. She also said I hear the name anyway from my daughter. I just can't believe she could be this cruel to me - how can I ever forgive her?

I cooked up some ground beef and there was this rubbery piece of what looked like intestine that I spit out.Iv'e seen cancerous cows sluaghtered as long as they can stand up to be shot,the USDA passes them for us to eat.I used to haul cows for a dairy cull dealer,and many times cows with huge infected tumors are ground up for hamburger.I will avoid this nasty thing forever.

i had this dream where my hubby's ex contacted him back. his ex asked for help coz her ex was bothering he. he helped (he is a SUPER helpful person that at times i feel its irritating n tt ppl are using him) and the issue was resolved. the worst thing was to find them hugging after that and that they had been secretly been in contact for the past few years. is it a dream or premonition since i had just been married for a few months and that this ex of his used to be one of his 'true love'

I have had alot of up and downs with drinking, a bit of drugs, and mainly my weight. I was diagnosed with anorxia and used to be bulimic, though nobody knew. My highest weight was 130 and lowest 92 (from laxatives) I was 92 about a month ago and I am now 103.(I'm 20and 5'7)I try so hard to eat and be normal around food but I just can't. I starve then binge and feel so gross and dont even know what I should eat anymore. I haven't thrown up in awhile and vowed not to take laxatives. I am having a VERY HARD TIME. I pretty much look pregnant from eating or drinking anything. Its so unfair. My laxative abuse lasted awhile so I know my bodys still all messed up. Will my body start absorbing foods normally and digesting right? I almost want to give up b/c I'm tired of looking bloated all the time and constantly thinking about food. I get really bad anxiety about way to much stuff. And I compulsively exercise sometimes- but try not to b/c that makes me binge. I also have bad mood swings. HELP

who is a secretary, and seems like he is taking great advantage of me coz I make lit more money than him...
Even before we decided to rent this place , he told me that he doesn't make a lot of money and somehow talked me into paying 55% of the rent. saying that I will get the larger master bedroom (Double master suite, both about same size). So I agreed based on sympathy.
Now, he consistently mentions that I since I make more money than him thus I should also pay a larger portion of electricity bill... and he always keeps the fan in his bathroom on and keeps the air conditioning so cold even when I was very sick.
What can I do in order to start equally split the rent again, and stop him from using my higher income as an excuse to pay more of our bills?
Every time we tried to talk, he would be like "good that we're talking", then he would start mentioning about my income and how difficult it is for him to pay bills (and he just got engaged and bought a new Tundra)... dunno wud to do

I am about 11 classes away from my History Degree. I never put much thought into what I would do with it. I figured if all else failed, I'd teach. However, recently I have been thinking about applying for Law School. This is still way, way in the future, but I like to plan ahead. If I do, I will be attending somewhere in Texas, since I am already a Texas resident. So if you have any experience in Law at all, could you please relate that to me. Have any of you who read this question attended a Law School in Texas; if so which one? What did you do with your Law Degree once you graduated? What are the options besides being a trial lawyer? How much do you get paid (sorry, I like money...but that isn't my main reason for applying for Law School). How did you pay for Law School. What were classes like? Did you have any free time? Can 2 people live off of $12,000 a year taking the following expenses into account:

Rent: $365-450/month
Utilities: $85-125/month
Gas & Car Ins: $230/month
Food/groceries: $200/month
Health Insurance: $150/month
Other Expenses: ????/month

The people are my dad and his dead beat brother. They are both 40 something and don't care about living conditions. Can this work? They only make $500/month each after taxes. Any suggestions on how they could make this work out or get more money?

my husband of 7 years makes no effort in our relationship. He is a dedicated man, and works very hard to provisde a very nice life, but in general he has no interest in having a relationship with me, he is happy with our roles, me , the house maker, him the provider.
Our anniversary was not long ago, he didnt take the time to even buy me a card. It made me feel super crummy,
but he always makes ways for everyone else, he'll travel to meet others needs. not a one time occasion but more freaquently then ever.
I am so lost in where we are, and I keep trying to get back on track, he shows no interests.
what can i do? I feel like I am reaching the end. help.

I don't think bitter was the right word, but you get what I mean. I've just been reading a lot of posts from some adoptees on here and they say some pretty far out (to me) things about adoption. Is this an expectation now that adoptees should feel like something is missing in their lives, or be angry?
I'm just asking because I'm an adoptee, and to me it's just the way things are. I've never even thought of myself as an 'adoptee' really, it's just who I am.
