i'm going to do the cabbage soup diet next week, mon-sun. i'm going to use this recipe. does anyone know if the amounts in this recipe are supposed to cover the whole week? thanks!

I can tell you that it makes a lot of soup (you will need at least a 6 quart pot). I used a 6 quart crock pot when I made it and I had skipped the tomato juice. If you plan to add the V8, be sure to use at least an 8 quart soup pot.

Now, whether it lasts you a week or not will depend on you. You eat a lot of this soup and can have it anytime you are hungry. It will last you at least a half week.

Use This

Prep time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

1/2 c. fat-free cream cheese
4 8-inch flour tortillas
2/3 c. romaine lettuce, shredded
2/3 c. red cabbage, shredded
1 red tomato, diced
1/4 c. red onions, sliced
1/3 c. carrots, grated
1/4 c. blue cheese
1 c. alfalfa sprouts
Directions:

Spread 2 tbsp. cream cheese over one side of each tortilla.
Divide remaining ingredients evenly among tortillas.
Roll up each tortilla.
Cut each rolled wrap in half diagonally.
Serves: 4

Serving size: 1 wrap

24 g carbohydrate
