I cooked up some ground beef and there was this rubbery piece of what looked like intestine that I spit out.Iv'e seen cancerous cows sluaghtered as long as they can stand up to be shot, the USDA passes them for us to eat.I used to haul cows for a dairy cull dealer, and many times cows with huge infected tumors are ground up for hamburger.I will avoid this nasty thing forever.

Does not sound like you have a question.
It sounds like you have made up your mind and need a soap box.
Now I have a question: Did you take the meat back to where you bought it and have them explain what it was? If not you did yourself no favor and did not do a favor for the merchant and his other customers.

This is my help from Washington, D.C. USA.

Oh man, you have no idea! Commercial beef is unbelievably horrifying. So is milk. If you want to reduce your chances of getting something NASTY research your companies that sell at your local stores and find a company that is relatively small. Or buy from a local farm. (the rubbery thing you got, actually, was probably just a piece of sinew that holds muscle to bone...look at a piece of chicken next time you eat it on the bone. You'll see the same thing there).

But do some research on the link between bovine cannibalism and mad cow disease. You should see some of the cows they allow to be slaughtered...so weak they cannot stand on their own...cancerous, maggot infested wounds...it's sick!!!! But, put a USDA stamp on it and call it good. *gag*

You have no idea what the USDA passes inspection for...unbelievable!

Oh, and PS, don't ever buy pre-mixed mass-production chocolate milk from the store. Take my word for it. *shudder*

no, lean ground beef is good for u in moderation. i wouldnt make that one of your main sources of food, but lean ground beef would be good once a week. the best choice for health is lean ground sirloin. basically stick with lean meats most of the time like chicken breast and fish(salmon is great for nutrition). alot of what u hear are rumors i would say. companys that sell any kind of food are closely watched.
