They argue that God has always been God -- "Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God." Psalm 90:2

I'd like to know what other Mormons think of this and how to respond to it (I know an anti-Mormon guy). My own thoughts are that I agree with both sentiments and think we can believe that God was once a man and that He has always been God at least of this world at the same time. I believe the Bible is true and I believe the Church is true and am sure there's no contradiction, at least not to God.

Logically, it makes sense to me that as God is our Father that He would be like us and us like him including having experienced similar trials to ours at one point before the beginning of time. I also think it makes sense that we would be able to become like God because all parents want their children to progress to a point where their children become like them.

Anyway, thoughts?

I'm 5'2 and was 130 pounds. I have been doing some weight training on my arms and thigns for about two weeks. I got on the scale and now I'm 141! I do not look like I have gained, I havent been drining that much water, so what gives????

petty greed? Im the administrator and Im fed up with his meddling only in negative ways, I mean even other business man laugh at him and the only reason he's not in financial ruin right now is me. I get a nice salary but at the same time I cant take this bs anymore...any advice

I have a 5 1/2 month old pit bull puppy that when I got him back from his former owner had no weight on him at all. He was so thin that his testicals had not yet dropped. Oreo looked as though he had never been given any food or water and had not been allowed out of the cage that he was kept in when the owners were gone or sleeping. When I brought him home 48 hours ago he was shakey and so thin that you could count every bone in his body my family didnt think he was going to be ok but with in 45 minutes of feeding him he started to play and walk around better. I gave him a big bowl of food and a big bowl of gatoraide to get him back to a little bit of something. Was I right in feeding him or did I do something wrong? He is showing signs of being alot better and seems to have picked up at least 5 pounds in that short time frame.

I'm a married guy with one teenage son. My wife is one of the most annoying, and meanest people I know. But there's a lady at work who I talk to. I'll admit that I'm attracted to her but I'm not the cheating kind. She a sweet person and talks to me often. She's single. I've known her for about 6 months but since then she tells me about personal things in her life. I would never disclose any of this information because she's a friend. But she tells me everything. And says she loves talking to me. I find myself thinking about her whenever I'm not with her. I wonder why she chooses me to tell lots of things to when she doesn't confide in another lady of one of her friends. I wonder why of all peole she chooses me to tell the intimate details of her life?

Im sure a few of you know what Im talking about.

On a bookshelf in the library they have those things that keep the book from toppling over if there is an empty space on one side or the other. It just holds it up by tucking under the books, along with a wall to hold them up.

I'd like to search ebay, but cant think of the name. I've tried searching for "bookshelf stops" and "bookshelf holder" and cant find them. I'd feel kind of foolish calling up Barnes & Noble or the Library just to ask.

Any ideas?
