Generally speaking, unless it's all cash bail, you only need to post 10% of the bail amount, in this case, $12,500.
Owing money to Goldman has little bearing on the bail.

After the murder trial, the only thing he had left was his house and retirement. The Goldman family can never touch those two. They really never wanted his money, but just wanted to keep him from profiting from the death of their son. O.J. has many followers and I'm sure if he doesn't have the money somebody will back him.

The Goldman Family should be mad at the judicial system, not O.J. , if they think that O.J. killed their son. The system needs fixing. Prison terms are only for the poor , the black, and the non-famous. The East coast laws do not apply to the west coast. Keep your eye on Phil Spector. How's Robert Blake doing ? They still haven't solved the murder cases of George (Superman) Reeves, Bobby ("I fought the Law") Fuller, or The Black Dahlia............so how will they ever prove the murders of Mrs. Simpson or Mr. Goldman Besides.......maybe O.J. didn't do it.

I don't know. I just know he had to post the entire 125K in cash with the court. No ten percent down and have a bond posted. He also took a chartered jet out of the executive terminal at McCarran Airport back to Florida.

He hid a lot of his monies in off shore accounts w/ a twisted team of lawyers and accountants long ago after the Goldman's suit.
And probably some of his cronnies put up the bail for him.

The same way he got the money to buy that million dollar house in Florida last year, he isn't paying the Goldmans and the Browns the money that he is obligated to pay them.

His NFL pension is not attachable for any judgement against him. So, that's money he can use. He could also put up his house as bail, just as anyone else in a similar situation.
