I mean.. he is a very consistent player. And he is consistently improving.. there may be a bit of bias in my thoughts too but I want to know what you all think.

It is probably a little early, altough i think if he carries on the way he's playing at the moment then he should. He's just 20 years old, controls the passing in what looks like a great arsenal midfield that bears comparisons to the "invincibles".

He's strong, athletic, he's very selfless in his play as he proved yet again tonight by providing eduardo with his first goal for the club, when so many would have taken the glory themselves. And what i like most about him this season is that his taking shots on, and he's already scored 3 goals in 5 games in the prem., whereas last season i thought that was his one weakness, he only scored 2 goals in something like 45 shots on target, so he's come on so much this season by not just setting his teammates up with assists but having a great shooting ability that any of the greatest central midfielders have got. I think he's easily the best player in the prem at the moment and i cant see that changing.

Even if he dont win euro player of the year it wont be that much of a big deal, as in the last few seasons they prefer to give it to players that play in Spain or Italy, last time a prem player won it was in 2001 Owen with Liverpool, and when you think that great players like Henry, Cantona, Bergkamp, Zola, Giggs and many more great players havent won it, you come to realise how unimportant it is, i still cant believe Cannavaro won it last season, i like him and his a great centre back, but best player in europe, i doubt it.

Yes it is my friend. He's at awesome pace, but an injury could really kill all expectation. still it's nice to see Cesc ( a player I've always followed closely) do well.

If he can secure the Scudetto this year, Europe's player of the year will be Francesco Totti. He seems to have recovered from his leg break, and I've always said if Premiership team ever needed immediate talent on their side they should try to take this guy from Roma. I'd doubt he'd leave though.

Fabregas has been a quality player for a while now.
Right now he is in top form, the best player for Arsenal and one of the top players in the EPL so far this season.

Not sure if he would be candidate for the 2007 Player of the Year, Kaka and Ronaldo would probably be the leading candidates but don't count him out for the 2008 Nomination if he continues in this top form.

Lets not get too far ahead. Its just a few games into the season. If he keeps it up he will be a contender and possibly leave for Madrid.
