I was a vegetarian until last year when I had bacon. It was yummy. Now I eat bacon at every opportunity I get. And it's the only meat I eat.
Here's some fave (maybe new) ways to use bacon:
* stuff a fig with an almond, wrap in bacon and bake at 375 degrees until bacon is crispy
* use bacon grease instead of butter for homemade Chex Mix
*Use bacon grease for frying instead of butter ( I really like it for potatoes o'brien)
* Bacon/ cheese salad-- blanch fresh broccoli, add some mayo, bacon crumbles and shredded cheddar cheese
* bacon on cheesy bread from the pizzaria
* One of my fave things to order at a restaurant- a veggie burger with bacon (servers are always thrown by that one!)
* cook bacon strips close together and they will make a decent sized flat surface to make a sandwich on- screw bread when you can use bacon instead!

Have you ever tried bacon barbecued on dates? Take a whole date stuff it with pine nuts, wrap it with bacon, stick a tooth pick through it and barbecue them. They are sweet and salty at the same time. They are a great appetizer.....

After you fry your bacon,
deglaze the pan to make bacon
gravy. Either for your bacon you just
made or for something else (like your eggs).
