I live in the St. Louis area and my friend's birthday is coming up in 3 days. When we met last year, she told me about how her grandparents got her a Precious Moments snowglobe and she loved it sooo much, but then her brother broke it. Now, I want to get her a Precious Moments Snowglobe. I tried eBay, and I found some stuff on there but shipping takes up to 3 business days. Where can I get some snowglobes, or what website can I get it from that is cheap and ships in less than three days??????????

saying that people should stop playing the race card in this case. Uhh, do you remember the horror stricken faces of White Americans in this country when the not guilty verdict was read, and the party like behavior of African Americans? Almost every single AP poll showed a significant amount of Caucasians believed he did it while most Blacks didn't think he was guilty. Even people who didn't know much about the case were choosing sides based on what race they were, which proved there is still a significant racial divide in this country. There was that lynch mob mentality then, and there's that lynch mob mentality now. If O.J.'s wife Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ronald Goldman, had been black, would most of you even care? The media definitely wouldn't have showed as much interest as they do now. Remember this has nothing to do with whether he did it or not, but I hate when people are in self denial over the fact that most people's perspective on him has a racial impetus.

It's full of holes, and there are far more credible versions all over the internet, support by very credible people....version often posted here. Why are some people SO ready to believe and defend the government which has lied so many time, everyone has lost count.

I usually try to stop around 6p and go to the bathroom before I go to bed but it never fails...2:30am and 4am every night i'm up. I don't know where it's all coming from!! I've already been tested for diabetes and I don't have it.

It's one of the scariest situations a parent could face. Imagine showing up at your child's school to find your kindergartener isn't there.
Jennifer Nguyen says she picks her kids up from Westlawn Elementary School every afternoon, but for some reason her youngest son's teacher decided to allow 5-year old Sebashten to walk home by himself.
"The teacher said Sebashten told her he wanted to walk home, and the teacher said no you're a car rider. He said but I want to walk home, so she let him walk home," said Nguyen.
The walk from the school to Nguyen's house is more than a mile, and to get there the kindergartener would have to cross the very busy Airport Boulevard.
"It's something of course we never want to happen," said Nancy Pierce, a spokesperson for the Mobile County Public School District. "Anything we can do to prevent that from happening we try to do," said Pierce.
Pierce says the school district has apologized the Sebashten's parents, and they are now reviewing their dismissal policy.
Apology aside, Nguyen says what she was told by the school district Thursday is disturbing.
"Dr. Carol said it was a common mistake and it happens in all schools around the United States," said Nguyen. "But, I don't believe it's a common mistake," she says.
After two hours of searching, Sebashten was found safe but scared. His mom says he was more than two miles from the school and no where close to home.

I have several rolls of 35mm film, some of which I know have been shot and rewound and the others not yet used. I have been told that if I compare the length of the leaders that I can tell which of the rolls are shot and used and which are not yet used. As I recall if I compare 2 rolls, the roll with the short lead is the unused roll and the one with the longer lead (approximately an inch or so longer) is the one that has been shot and rewound. Is that logical (as Spock would appreciate)?

I would like to investigate around my town and other surrounding towns. I'm kind of afraid to ask older citizens, because it is a small town, and I don't want people talking about me being crazy, (which I'm absolutely not, by the way- I just have a real interest.) My math prof has stumped us with this riddle. It is a 6 letter word. Put the 6 letter word around a circle, and going clockwise, each letter should start a 6 letter word. So for instance, if you have the word Tablet, Tablet would be a word, then Ablett would be a word, Bletta would be a word, and so on and so forth.

I'm in a major credit hole. As I get to the top of the hill,
I look down at the beautiful world below.
The blazing sunset tears at the evening sky,
and glistens off the dark saphier waters,
making the water sparkle.
As the sun rays dance.
The sound of the sea is still here,
carried up by the cool breeze,
like angels rising to heaven.
The dirt road,
like a long brown ribon,
winds past the sweet white cottages,
and ends at he grand white cabin,
where we stay.
Our entire family,
all in one place.
The sea wind whips my hair,
whispering the secrets of so many summers.
I gather the last of the firewood,
and gently glide down the mountain,
carried by the calling of gulls.
Soon the sky will be dark,
and full of glowing stars,
soon a fire will be blazing,
in the fire pit next to the grand white cabin,
warming the chilly air of the night.
Soon I will look through the gap in the trees,
surrounding our cabin.
And I will see the stars,
twinkling their hellos.
