It's full of holes, and there are far more credible versions all over the internet, support by very credible people....version often posted here. Why are some people SO ready to believe and defend the government which has lied so many time, everyone has lost count.

stiggo629: st911.org, pilotsfor911truth.org where have you been...these and other sites are all over the internet!

stiggo629 - show me one that proves the gov't story....and don't refer to the 911 Commission...even the chairs of that commission have recently said things that cast it in a very poor light....and I have seen NO debunking of st911.org or pilotsfor911truth.org
I have seen a bebunking fo the pop sci article, tho. how is that the the towers were designed to withstand the crash of an airliner bigger than those that hit them and be the frist two steel structured buildings to ever collapse due to fire and in near free-fall speed meaning each floor collapsed with zero resistance from the floors below violating the laws of the conservation of energy and the conservation of motion. It's impossible without explosives at each floor. There was evidence of thermite in both the videos and that molten steel burning under the rubble for weeks after the collapse....did you actually watch the pilotsfor911truth.org? If you have a site that you think proves the government version...I will watch it.

Our government is supposed to take care of us. Furthermore, patriotism has been twisted into support for the government. [The original American patriots violently opposed the government in place at the time.] To believe that our government would lie to them about something so massive would shake their view of the world.

I'm glad that you call the government story a "conspiracy" version. It is. The government story is just that. It is that a group of Muslims led by bin Laden "conspired" to fly planes into important U.S. buildings with the goal of killing Americans. People may honestly believe the official conspiracy theory and argue against alternate ones. But I think that the term "conspiracy theory" is too often used to discredit a theory before even considering its merits.

The official version MAY even be largely true (though certainly not entirely even if through honest mistakes). I've actually gone back and forth a bit on my opinion. But I certainly don't think that it's crazy to question the supposed facts.

Citizens of more than 90 countries died in the 9/11 attacks, not just Americans.
None of those countries have ever blamed anyone but the Islamic terrorists actually responsible for that.
None have ever substantiated (let alone proven) anything claimed by conspiracy hoaxers.

There's over 200 separate countries on this planet.
Including those 90+ nations whose citizens died in the 9/11 attacks, not have ever substantiated or proven anything claimed by conspiracy hoaxers.

There's been no action whatsoever - diplomatic, economic, legal or military - taken by any of the world's 200+ countries against anyone conspiracy hoaxers claim is actually responsible for 9/11.

For the past 13 years, the world's been as silent as the graves of 9/11 victims.
Which is plain as day obvious to sane, rational, educated people. Just not conspiracy nuts.

Conspiracy nuts are far too busy thinking 9/11 was faked or an inside job or false flag or any of the other nonsense they've been scammed into believing to even notice these simple and glaringly obvious facts.

Like the saying goes: people who know nothing can and will fall for anything.
Even something as preposterous as claims that 9/11 wasn't an Islamic terrorist attack.

A few reasons.

Because they were fooled into believing the official conspiracy theory, just like people were fooled into voting for BushFraud. Some people just don't like to think too much so they just go along with whatever the television says.

Also, 9/11 was a massive world wide psychological operation. Sound too crazy to believe? Well read here Apocalypse Of Coercion: Why We Listen to What "They" Say About 9/11, to understand the psychology of 9/11:

http://www.alternativeculture.com/books/coercion.htm

"Who, exactly, are ‘they,’ and why do they say so much? More amazing, why do we listen to them?" —Douglas Rushkoff, Coercion: Why We Listen to What "They" Say (NY: Penguin, 1999).

Rushkoff’s Coercion is a sizzling exposé of mind control, American style. Unlike Chomsky’s Manufacturing Consent, Rushkoff’s book provides a detailed guide to the nuts-and-bolts techniques employed against us every day by advertisers, marketers, public relations specialists, Hollywood filmmakers, salespeople, pyramid-scam artists, and cult leaders--the very same techniques applied for decades, and gradually perfected, by CIA interrogators and psychological warfare experts. These techniques are designed to disable rational thought and manipulate behavior at the unconscious and emotional levels. Anyone curious about why so many otherwise rational people have believed the official story of 9/11 for so long, in the teeth of the overwhelming evidence against it, should start by reading Coercion.

The secret of mind-control is simple--so simple that Rushkoff can sum it up in one sentence: "In whatever milieu coercion is practiced, the routine follows the same basic steps: Generate disorientation, induce regression, and then become the target’s transferred parent figure" (64). Hard-sell car salesmen, CIA interrogators and psychwar ops, and cult leaders have long used this technique. Under coercion, millions of otherwise rational people can be persuaded to act against their own interests--whether by shelling out big bucks for an overpriced lemon, betraying a comrade and a cause, or allowing a gang of criminals to destroy their nation’s Constitution and launch criminal wars of aggression."

That depends on which group you're talking about.

The left just hates Bush so much that the nut jobs among their ranks will blame him for anything. They watched wag the dog and thought, "hey, this might work." The fact that every time that Bush has gotten into political trouble a new Bin Laden video surfaces doesn't help.

The Muslims who believe this malarkey are living in a society where they are being spoonfed conspiracy theories from birth. They're raised on the mother's milk of victimhood. It's sad, actually. Americans want to dominate EVERYONE, not just Muslims. Islam, seriously, stop acting like you're the only ones being repressed here! ;)

The truth is, a conspiracy that big is more or less impossible. The number of people who would have to be involved almost insists that someone with credibility would blow the whistle.

Edit: LSD in the water supply? Where? I want to move there! hehehe

Edit2: Wow, anyone who disbelieves conspiracy theories is getting massive thumbs down from people. Guess we have a lot of nut jobs, eh?

Those people want to overthrow the United States Government. 9/11 being a inside job is a piece of the reason on why they want to do that.

People hate to be called names, and the second you believe something the mainstream media doesn't you are labeled as crazy or conspirator and try to discredit the person instead of the ideas.

Yes, the official story that three buildings fell vertically within seconds and were pulverized due to fire has a lot of holes in it. And considering the fact that Building 7 was a short building that had no jet fuel in it is very revealing--in how the Twin Towers actually came down and how many morons will believe ANYTHING to keep secure that their government would never lie to them.

Some people are fascinated with terrible events. They just can't imagine the answer could be the truth and that there is always something sinister behind events. Some are of these people are just weird and others cannot believe anything our government tells us. They don't care about the facts but their own agenda, whatever that might be. It is more interesting to them to come up with and believe conspiracy theories. People are still contemplating conspiracy theories about Abraham Lincoln, LSD in the water system, UFO information being hidden, etc. Their minds must just work in a different manner then ours and cannot except the truth.

I am surprised that I haven't heard any conspiracy theories concerning the poisoned toys from China killing off our children so we will have fewer soldiers to fight in the future.
