Alright, so, for probably about the last week or so, I've had what I think is a horrible sinus infection. Every 5 seconds, I'm hacking and spitting up post-nasal drip. I hardly have to blow my nose. The back of my throat hurts (not like strep throat-hurt, and not raw from spitting), but just on the left side (feels like a swollen lump below my jaw). I haven't felt any sinus pressure, or had any pain in my face/head/head aches, but am constantly spitting up post-nasal. And here's the worst part (to me anyway)... every 10-12 times that I hack up and spit, large (almost the size of a dime), hard pieces of mucous come out.. you know, the one's that make you gag when you feel it come out from the back of your nose-throat when you hack em' up (what exactly are those, anyway?). One looked like the shape of my nasal cavity... weird. Anyway, is this just a horribly aweful, night-mare-ish sinus infection? And, how can I take care of it? Please, serious replies only. Thanks Everyone!
