I gave birth to my baby boy on Sunday at 3:57 am. He was 5'9lbs. I went to the hospital for my drs. appointment and my blood pressure was still acting up so they decided to admit me until they had room to induce me. Saturday night my blood pressure was acting up again in the hospital so they decided they would just induce me then. They checked my cervix and it was 3 cm dialted. After that I started having contractions. They hooked me up to IV and started the induction at 10:45pm. So this labor was a whole 5 hours, which is awesome compared to the 22 hour labor I had when they induced me with my daughter.
I just wanted to give you guys an update to say that you'll now see me posting in the newborn section!!! Thanks to all those who gave me advice.

I swear, I ate a lot of raw food and never once got sick in the 6 months I was there. I DIDN'T eat the chicken (torisashimi I think) or the pork but a lot of beef, horse and fish.

After hearing about the Michael Vick situation yesterday (the dog-fighting indictment), something occured to me:

Why is it that we, as a society, punish people so severely for harming animals....but yet.....sex offenders get a slap in the hand and put back into society as if it were nothing? It's as if animals are more important than humans........how backwards is that?


The same question could apply to abortion doctors......who murder daily.

Ok this morning I woke up with a lot of pain and pressure down in my lower area. When I walk it hurts and now I have a stomach ache that is dull and my back is hurting. COuld this be labor or what? I called to see if my doctor could see me today but he is booked. What should I do I'm already 4cm dialated.

I woke up this morning feeling great and light headed then I started to think, I got really stressed. My head started to fill up with thoughts and I'm in pain now. Not from any specific thoughts just a general sense of not being well. When I woke I felt great my mind was clear and then some specific thoughts came into my mind such as my brother stealing money from me and my mom being a drug addict and my dad not being involved in my life. I am 25 and I live by myself in New York City. I'm asking the community for any information regarding my situation and if anybody has experienced something similar to me please tell me about it. Im looking for the name of the powder used to give the inside of a box once glued in a velvet look. I used this stuff in high school wood shop about 20 years ago. Spread glue put powder in shake and done. looks like velvet and in powder form.

I attended a Christian Women's Bible School for a short course on family relations a whie back and one thing that was discussed at length by the women was that men don't seem to have goals for the family like women do or if they do, they don't discuss these goals with them. If this is true in most cases? Do you think your wife feels you don't discuss things with her as much as she would like regarding long range goals and plans for the family? Just curious.

Well i spend alot of time at home and my brithday is coming up thrusday lol and i had mentioned a kitten..wasnt set on it but it was a thought that ran threw my head...Well lol my boyfriend ended up suprising me last night with a baby kitten.
I know that your not allowed to change the litter box while being pregnant..I'm 6 months along...I was just making sure that its ok and if there is anything else i should be worried about..He's so cute and i'm happy but i just want to make sure its safe! Thank you!
