Ok this morning I woke up with a lot of pain and pressure down in my lower area. When I walk it hurts and now I have a stomach ache that is dull and my back is hurting. COuld this be labor or what? I called to see if my doctor could see me today but he is booked. What should I do I'm already 4cm dialated.

My pain in my back feels better if I lean in to it. Normal or not?

This could be the first and early stage of labor which could last for days.....or just hours. Now that your doctor has been alerted you should just wait and see what happens.

If this is true labor you will be feeling real contractions eventually that are stronger and closer together.

When they get 5 minutes apart and it's hard to talk while having one, then go to your doctor's office and they will check you in, believe me!

All the best to you and baby!

How exciting!

I bet it's scary to, I remember going into labor myself and being absolutely terrified of the fact that I had no control over what was going on with my body.

This does sound like the beginning stages of labor. I had 2 false alarms so my doctor would always tell me to take two tyelenol and if the pain doesn't go away to get to the hospital as soon as I could. You might want to try that. Take the tyelenol and a hot bath if you can. If the pain goes away then it wasn't labor.

Stay calm, you're going to have a brand new baby very soon. Best wishes! I'm so happy for you. You and you're soon to be bundle of joy are in my prayers today! Good luck!

Haha well theres a list... :D If you cant go to the doctor then get a ride to the hospital. buy a good lawyer for legal reasons (even though i was the one being sewed i think that it was for the best) buy some baby stuff. get a guy to help you or live with friends, family or someone that you know will be able to take care of you. then if you have time buy some biger clothes.. hehe cause you going to grow. I may have left out something but well you got the drift.

That's not right (doc booked up and can't see you) if your 4 cms and having that kind of pain. That doc should at least call you back. I'd go on down there even if he's booked. Or to the hospital.

It possibly could be labor..but it also feels like pressure down low when the baby's head is dropping more in position. Just wait a little and see if labor really kicks in or your water breaks..good luck..

I would stay laying in bed for a little while and if the pain gets worse then just go ahead and head into the ER. They will check you out and either keep you or send you home. That will clear your doctors scheduale for the day.

Make an appointment with a nurse or go to the hospital...You never know, esp. with back pain.
