My sister came out to me about five years ago and I'm really the only one in my family who is accepts it. My dad just kind of ignores it and doesn't really accept her relationships. My mom outright tells her she thinks it is wrong, blah blah blah. I just had a daughter and I am leaving custody of her to my sister in my will (I feel like she has all of the same values I do, and is a much stronger person, someone who will be a great influence on my daughter if anything should happen to myself and my husband.) But I feel so bad for my sister, I know I can never understand what she is going through. She recently ended her relationship with her partner (of about five years) and she keeps talking about having kids and how she doesn't think she can. She's even mentioned that she might start dating guys. I know her well, and I know this isn't her. I don't want to overstep my boundaries, so I try to encourage her and tell her she can have kids without a significant other of either sex.

I want to get my belly button pierced____?

Hey guys, I'm 13 years old and I want to get my belly button pierced when I go down to Ocean City MD for the 4th of July. I've heard so many stories of it hurting and stuff like that. I have a tolerance for pain seeing as my chin has been cut open and my arm has been split open and I think some vains were cut open too. I have 6 piercings in my ear. My first and second holes, third hole in my right ear and my right ear cartlige pierced. My question is, will it hurt as much as those? What does if feel like and what can I do to make it not hurt as much? How long after you get it pierced will it stop hurting? It would really mean a lot to me if you guys could please tell me all I need to know!

H.O.F. Racing plans to expand to 2 cars next season... Who do YOU think will be the next driver?!?

The article also says they it's not certain that Tony Raines will be back in 2008 either. So, If they dump Tony.. What 2 drivers would they go after!? They don't have a BUSCH driver.... I think it'd be crazy to dump Tony after this year. I've heard that Jason Leffler and Marcos Ambrose are both in consideration. But I don't know if their BUSCH contracts would let this happen. Anyone else hear any names or have any good guesses!?

Where can I get a (quad-band) cell phone that works both in Europe and Japan?

I'm looking for a cellphone that would function both in Europe and in Japan. Its purpose is mainly for when going on business trips. It's a bit tedious not being able to call people when abroad, or when having to use public phones, or prepaid cell phones. I'd like to have some names of models and I'd also like to know where I can get them and how much they would cost.

If humans evolved from apes, Where are the semi-evolved ape-men and why does the evolution seem to have ended?

For all those who believe in Darwinian theories; it must create problems in your beliefs to not bear witness to the ongoing ape/man transformation(the foundation of darwinian beliefs). The transformation by which we apparently are lucky enough to exist.(If you believe that!)
P.S. I am not religious. I just find it curious to know that so many people hold a belief with such a gaping hole in it.

How come so many people who follow the bible do not know the origins of the bible ?

I am a spiritual person, but not a religious person....my personality is anti-establishment by nature. Organized religion in my opinion is the only major obstacle people have in getting to know god.

It seems to me, that so many people have used the bible as an excuse to do everything that the bible tells them not to do. Alot of people consider the bible to be "the word of god", when in all reality it was written by humans.

How can so many people put so much faith into a religious doctrine, and consider it to be "god's word", without knowing the true origin and purpose of it's creation ? Alot of people think the bible is a single book, when in reality it is many many books with exerpts that were "cherry-picked" from different books from different religions (judaism - tora), from different time periods BC and AD...translated, revised, retranslated, revised and retranslated over and over again.
