What kind of softshelled turtle?

I have owned hard shelled turtles bofore and I want to own a soft shell one. the climate is similar to New york. I have a 20-30 gallon tank so I do not want a big one.

Softshell turtles are not easy to keep. they need a sandy bottom; wide, shallow tanks (usually bigger than 30 gallon); and tend to get shell fungi very, very easily!
