ive left the uk to go home and havent completed my phone contract.in the end it will probably result to about 900 pounds.is that enough for them to hunt me down?

That's a fair amount of money. They may turn the case over to their affiliate in your country.

You should pay the debt off as a matter of pride - not because you're made to, but because you know you should.

Your phone company will not come after you, but the collection company they sell your debt to will. They will go after anything above $50 pretty aggressively, including filing a suit against you and placing a lien on you.

Changing countries may mess them up for a bit, but they all have affiliates that are more then willing to buy the debt and come after you.

If nothing else, call the phone company and tell them you are leaving the country. Ask for a cancellation of the contract and see if there is just a fee to pay to cancel. Most of the time there is one. That would be much cheaper than letting your service lapse unpaid.

would you track someone down if they owed you 900 pounds?Pay your bills,it has to do with honor as much as anything else.
