The fact that your body is used to having it in there, and it becomes a part of how your body operates. Then when you don't have it in your body, it freaks out. But every addiction is normally 70% mental. You like it normally. Like with coke, you feel speeded up and very sharp and euphoric while you are on it. You want to feel that way all the time so you keep doing it. Then the first part of this paragraph comes into play.

Whenever you perceive a singular source of joy, it triggers addiction. The only solution is, of course, recognizing other sources of joy. Nicotine is an insecticide . . addictive for making annoyances go away. There are physical ramifications as well.

The body has receptors that absorbs certain types of elements that makes it feel good. After this repetition it becomes use to it and wants it more. Remember: it's only considered addictive after you try to stop! I drink coffee everyday and will continue to do so, but if for some reason I'm told to quit it will them so signs of addiction.

Addiction is when you cannot control your behavior or need for a substance. It may be a physical addiction such as alcohol or caffeine. Or a person may become addicted to certain behaviors, such as tanning, shopping, gambling, internet, pornography, etc.

theres these little chemicals in ur brain which stick to sumthn on ur brain and its hard to get them off so the chemcicals make u want the substance or thing that made them there......that is such a basic explanation but hey
