Well, you can take Midol, which relieves bloating as well as cramps. Or you could take Diurex or some other anti-bloat medication out there. However, I don't like to mess with pills myself, so I find that just avoiding salty foods helps me to not bloat so bad. No chips, no pretzels, etc. Which sucks, because I don't know about you, but when Aunt Flo comes to town, salty food is all I want, and LOTS of it! But not eating it helps to not be all bloated. And no alcohol, which bloats you anyway.

I've tried taking Midol and Pamprin for bloating. They seem to help.
Just try to avoid dairy, salt and salty foods, coffee and too much caffeine. Contrary to your feelings, you should drink more water. I also try to eat less and do smaller, frequent meals. I always feel more bloated from food (especially greasy stuff) than from actual liquids.
