I am a Very Important Person at home, but a Very Insignificant Person when out - I must be because people keep bumping into me!

Depends what you mean by VIP In America, any one who is 50 and up is considered VIP....i.e. old man! America is very youth oriented and no one over a certain age is accepted either in employment, or in some circles in society. Only ordinary average people can be laughed at and ridiculed because of their age. For example you cannot call Mr Gates, Mr Bloomberg, Mr Bush, Mr donald Trump or Ms Barbara Walters "Senior Citizen" i.e. VIP, they belong to the Billionaire Group where age does not matter

I'm as 'very important' as everyone else. The least important people in the world are those who spend their lives thinking they are VIP's!

The birds in the yard seem to think so...oh, and mustn't leave out the squirrels. They enjoy the sunflower seeds, too. Although sometimes I'm not sure that it's not my little truck they think is the V.I.P. It is, after all the vehicle which brings the bag of seed home.
