Hey, I don't get this at all!!

What was manifest destiny and how did it justify expansion?

I know manifest destiny was like america can expand all the way to pacific at it's own will and destiny (correct me if i am wrong!!) But how did it justify expansion?!

I am not familiar with this country's history and still learning as i just came from another country!!

The Islamists are always so angry because they think their country is in shambles because Shariah isn't implemented just right. If they would only execute one more homosexual, adulterer or apostate maybe things would be better. If they kept the women a little quieter and a little more covered maybe things would work out for them. I hear ancient history about algebra and architecture being created by Muslims but what have you done recently? If they hadn't built there society off of twice the African slaves than the west had and happened to be sitting on pools of oil, they would be worse off than sub-Saharan Africa. And no, I'm not being racist because Islam is a religion not a race. Religions are ideologies and ideologies either work or don't work. Islam has failed miserably.

My husband keeps on pledging his rings etc and when I ask him he says that he has pledged for helping his friends. I don't understand will it be true. He has drawn cash using Addon card nearly Rs.6,000/- and he says that one or two labours working in his office had asked for money. He himself earns very less salary when it is so why shud he go out of his way to help others like this. Can this be true. If he does again and again like this what can I do? I am at a loss to understand. Sometimes he borrows money from me when he runs out of pocket and I used to give him since he earns less his contribution for household expenses is also less. I always used to ask when u yourself don't earn much why shud you go out of your way to help others. I really dont' want to leave with him this has been going on for the past 3 yrs he never listens to me and when ever I ask he says lies to me. How can I opt for a divorce out of court. pls somebody suggest. No court pls.

Everyone knows how Barkley is a Spur's fan. I thought it was clever as hell to use that reverse psychology tonight on the audience. I loved the way he pointed out how he used the "checking in excuse" when it happened to him and by asking a active NBA (Shaq) player how he felt the answer was going to be obvious. Did anyone else catch on to this or am I delusional?

My boyfriend and I work together and tonight he gave me a dozen roses after work. We both have all morning off tomorrow and he said he was tired and wanted to go home. I said okay and I left but I noticed his car was still in the parking lot. So I turned around to check on him because he sometimes has car problems. He then was like "Oh I'm just relaxing" and I was like "I thought you said you were tired" and he was like "yahh I am, let's go" so he drives off and then parks a little ways down again. I got upset and he goes "I knew you were going to come that's why I did it!" and then he did it again another time. Then he finally left for good. I've never not trusted him until now but I do know he likes to play mind games with me. What should I do and should I be concerned or no? Thanks!

My girlfriend and i are planning to move in together. She owns a Pitbull, i own a Doberman. Plus her cousin wants to move in and he owns a Rotweiler and a pet Python snake. (We would never let the snake and the dogs interact we are not sure it's safe) But what about the dogs? We know all 3 breeds have extremely strong personalites, can be loyal, protective, and fierce guard dogs, but with proper training can they all coexist in the same house? Or do some breeds just don't mix?
