No, you definitely don't have to go to law school right after college. I graduated from college in 1976 and started law school in 1995, and I wasn't the oldest one in my class! I read your other question and I'd be glad to talk to you; it sounds like you need some intensive advising at this point. I can be reached at rflorshe@lmu.edu. If you are offered a place at the law school, you can defer law school for 1 or 2 years. Most universities allow students to study the degree for up to 7 years. This way, you can do whatever you want, before entering law school. This is great, I recommend you to study law, as it has a great starting pay as well as a bright future.
