I do not rejoice because lives are lost in Karachi or elsewhere in Pakistan. I am not that low!
But I certainly rejoice the fact that people with twisted Ideas and agendas have left India in Large numbers.
If they live in peace and love and prosper I would not be consumed by jealousy as many of them are when it comes to India.
Iam sure i will hear of outright denials of their mindset.

Pakistan is a country that used to be a part of India. If it wasn't for India, Pakistan wouldn't exist at all. It used to be a part of India. In fact, some Indians now were originally from Pakistan. I'm sure you know about the dividing of the Muslims and the Hindus. The herritage is the same. It is the religion that divides the two countries. No religion should divide people such as that.

Man, just like there are people in Pakistan brainwashed about Pakistan being the next big thing or the best country on Earth, there are people in India like that too and you my friend, belong in their group.

Wake up yaar, it is a simply a line created by humans. Same Earth, same land. No Pakistan, No UK, No India. Just humans playing a silly game and hating eachother.

So just because I am from Pakistan I should feel that I am in some perverted way superior to you?

I am just glad I am not a friend of yours else I really would be sad to have known a person like you.

Both Pakistan and India have policies which breed hatred into their citizens and behold! millions of human haters on both side of the border!

And for all Pakistani haters and war mongers:

Just for the record, Pakistan's future is not as bleak as media makes it seem. Don't loose your sleep, Pakistan will still progress as it has for good long 60 years.

First- what's his queston doing in 'religion and spirituality?'

Second- The bifurcation of India is as much Nehru's and Patel's responsibility as it was Jinnah's. The fact of the matter is that had Churchill won the elecetions, India would not be divided, but Independence would be put on hold. Clement Atlee, the British PM at the time was a weak man, who wanted to disinvest in India, because it was a huge burden on the British exchequer.

Third- some of the language used here, seems to be in violation of decent speech. Can we have polite debate, please?

NOT REALLY BUT YES ITS THE WORST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN TO PAKISTAN(WITH RESPECT TO ITS PRESENT AND FUTURE). PARTITION BRED ANIMOSITY AND TOOK SO MANY LIVES,DEPRIVED PEOPLE OF THIER HOMES AND SO MANY WOMEN WERE RAPED. A SECULAR INDIA IS REAL FREEDOM. ITS FREEDOM FROM DISCRIMINATION AND BASELESS HATRED. THIS QUES SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN PUT IN THIS SECTION BUT IN POLITICS.

The events in Karachi is sadness not the moment of joy. See how many innocent people who have died. Do you feel happy personally. If there has been death of corrupt or bad politicians, may be I agree. My heart does not feel happy for loss of any innocent lives - be it in any part of the world.

I personally condemn violence and terrorism, but sometimes I accept if it is targeted at criminals or anti-social elements

That`s a really stupid question as well as a silly statement! (no offence). I`m not pro-Pak or anything but I would say surely Independence was more important than Partition?
And don`t talk like that about Pakistan.the common people out there are not goondas! it`s just some particular ppl whom I better not name who r the problem.
