I have been working really hard to join the Navy. I have lost 63 pounds so far, and have about 15 more to do. I know, that is a lot of weight and it's a little embarrassing. Anyway, how did you keep going when discouraged? Once you were able to enlist how was basic training for you? Any tips for success would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm a total noob when it comes to facial piercings and I have no idea if there's a certain 'guideline' to follow when getting a lip piercing. Like hair, you have a round face that look may good with a certain style while others...not so flattering.

My question(s):
How would you know which lip piercing looks good on you?

Is it, like hair, dependent on a certain lip or face shape?
Or simply by trial and error?

I'm aware the piercer allows you to see what it looks like before getting it done. But, I'd like to have what I want in mind before going in and making myself look like an idiot with my noobish questions.

Should I take him seriously?? I said joking about it isn't funny; however, he said he wasn't joking and that he wasn't going to be alone. He continued with saying that he'll be the next Virginia Tech shooter. These threats scared me and I wondered if I should report him because it's either him or our lives. It would seem that some satellite imagery or video could pinpoint a location, tape a video of wide area, go back to the tape later to identify a vehicle that was used in a bombing, thus allowing intelligence to track where that vehicle originated from. Would it be that drones are more practical? Would it be that the vehicle would be too hard to identify?

Gov't stats show that guns owned by law abiding citizens are used more than criminals use their illegal guns. Citizens who defend their lives and property keep the crime stats down, there is NO room to interpret these facts, make LEGAL guns go away and only the crooks have guns and a bigger pool of victims!

you cannot keep an arm (gun or other form of weapon) if it is taken from you, and bearing it means carrying it upon one's person.

how does that follow as it is nested in 9 PERSONAL rights and NOT self described to be different than the intended holder of said right?
Why do the anti gun people have ARMED security, if they are SO against the right to keep and bear arms?

My momis really pissed that im hanging out with them. I never get into any trouble when im with them though. My mom is just worried that im going to get into trouble, which I wont. I have gotten the threat of getting the boot out of the house if I dont stop hanging out with them. But I say its up to me who I want to hang around with. Also I dont fit into any other group of people. Ive tried, but I just dont seem to fit in exactly. Give me some advice?

Hi, I currently have a 26mm orion sirius plossl eyepiece and I'm wanting to add another to the roster. Night Watch by Terrence Dickinson said you should have at least 1 eyepiece from the 40-20mm range and 1 from 13mm-19mm and 1 from 4mm -12mm I'm looking at the orion epic line because of the ED optics and the wide exit pupils and good eye relief but I'm not sure which one would be better the 14mm or the 18mm. which do you think would best complement my 26mm I already have and why.

Genesis 3:8-9 says that Adam and Eve successfully hid themselves from God. If he's all-knowing, how is this possible? And is there somewhere that I could hide from him so that he won't send me to his hell when I die?
