Hey, Amare- TNT has around 10 cameras on the whole thing. I think they got you, my friend.

BTW, my other favorite is " I didn't really see what happened."

High comedy.

Chuck DID argue that he thought they shouldn't be suspended. So I don't buy the psychological Chuckster playing mind games with the audience.

Haha. If you say so. But the video clearly shows Amare watching the play (not making a move). Then Nash hitting the deck (Amare suddenly starts running). Guess I'm a fool that can watch tape objectively.

hey BASKETBOY. But here's a question- do you think Suns fans would rather have those 2 guys jump to defend their teammate and get suspended or stay put and play in game 5? Yep. That's what I thought.

I saw this replay quite a few times and it did not appear that Amare was checking in like the commentators said. However, agreeing with Charles Barkley, it would not be fair to the Suns to suspend him because he didn't do anything other than walk a few steps toward the incident. I am not saying that he won't get suspended. I am just saying that it won't be fair. It will be interesting to see what happens. If he does, well then obviously the series will be 3-2 the Spurs because they have a hard time winning with him let alone without him. I hope that don't! GO SUNS!!!!

Yah, I laughed my @ss off when Craig Sager was reporting it while the game was still going on. What a lame excuse! hahahahaha... But seriously, he shouldn't be suspended. Both Stoudemire and Diaw weren't really in the scuffle, the assistant coaches did a pretty good job in stopping them. They were just REacting to the situation. But the guys from TNT had a point, rules must be followed, and they should implement it and be consistent with every issue. It just sucks that the NBA office and David Stern has the power to turn a series around. And the people involved didn't even touch anyone.

I think if you are in an important series and physical series you should expect players protecting their teamates and wether he's really going to the scorers table or not that's what fans want.I mean if you don't like that watch chess or something.

And Spurs really IS physical and dirty plus referees not calling anything is not doing any good and no offense this is GREAT basketball.

amare did get on to the court but did not participate or even get to do something detrimental to the situation... i doubt he will be suspended and if stu jackson has a good basketball iq, he would not suspend him or diaw

im a suns fan and i agree that what he said was a lame excuse... just as lame as bruce bowen's

It would be an outrage if Amare and Diaw got suspended. They were breaking the rules for a legitamate reason!!

I thought the whole thing was hilarious, and I loved the way Barkley pointed out that he tried that excuse also, but it didn't work. Brilliant of Barkley to try and use that reverse psychology on the audience. We all know he is a Spur's fan. Reverse psychology = there is a definition in wikipedia fallout. I'm still laughing idoknow.

This is why the Spurs are going to win the series. They are the veteran experienced team. Stoudamire is a "young" (synonym for moron) player who will have to sit out next game for not thinking about the consequences of his actions. He definitely got up and stepped on the court as you can see on playback. If he was so innocent why were his coaches pushing him all the way back to his chair?

Whether he should or shouldn't, I doubt he'll be suspended. This is too good of a series for David Stern to suspend a key player on a questionable move.

Stoudamire had his "players back," he should be treated less harshly than punk Horry who made the, flagrant foul is too lightly a word to describe his, assault on Nash.

Go Warriors!

He was going to the scorers table to check in, you fool. The coaching staff clarified it.

I suppose if you look at honesty as being high comedy, this would amuse you.
