Do we see ourselves as we really are
Or how we wish to be?
Is reality just a facade?
Hiding the truth from me?
I see the world in shapes
In sights and sounds and sighs.
Does anyone truly see themselves
Before their body dies?
These shapes are an illusion
The spirit we cannot feel.
Time is merely a gift.
Nothing else is real.
I am being molded
By hands I cannot see.
I trust that the Artist in question
Will make the best use of me.

A co-worker told me about a grass that when stepped on emits a lavendar like aroma. She said you see that grass in pictures where people are laying in it....But; she could not think of the name. Does anyone know what she was talking about?

Bought recently an old 1860's 3 story townhome in Philadelphia and we're gutting it. We ripped up the carpeting, then the subflooring, than a layer of hardwood (1930's) that was incomplete and then another layer of subflooring to find the very original wide 6" planks...whohoo!

One or two spots smell funky, like soaked through cat urine or some kind of mold....any suggestions on how to get rid of the smell other than just letting the planks air out.

We still have to sand down all the floors and stain them.

i have a friend who sleeps in the same dormitory as me and we share the same toilet my freind is a mal and of same age as me.once he was bathing and i went into the toilet and went to wash my hands as there was a toilet door i could not see him

Now I've often been defensive of my religion and sometimes even on the offensive but that doesn't mean that there are some things about it that bother me.

One the things that concern are the stories I keep hearing (and reading) from my fellow teens on how 'uncool' their religious parents are. Example could be one girl being criticized for wearing 'secular' clothes (e.g. mini skirt sleeveless) or another girl for 'dancing like a harlot' (hip-hop). Another is one is me, who loves anime, playing video games, and basically any work of fiction that features magic. Enter this...'preacher'... who comes and says why do you indulge yourself in the works of the devil ! Ooooh Jesus! you must repent and burn all that demonic garbage oooh Jesus!" ANd he quotes a lot boring bible verses. Also, there's the guy who loves listening to rock music and that he just enjoys singing and playing to the tune, but nooo his parents say their words of eeevil oooh!

Is this true? Are there parents like this?
