Oh, you don't understand.
We know the meaning of the words.
We are endlessly amused by the ability of the stupid to plumb new depths of mindlessness.

Some of the others who answered your question do not get the sarcasm and wit. They are so arrogant that they take your question as a serious one. They think that we on the right are mindless robots repeating talking points from the Rush Limbaugh show or from some other conservative. Honestly they are not concerned with the definition or your take on the definition, but they are concerned with making a point of how stupid we on the right are that we can not get the deeper concept of logic and how far Superior they are and how low brow we are. Yet most of the low brow stuff I see is all the Bush bashing. If you are articulate and passionate they will call you names and want you to shut up. They are the ones who need to define free speech, racism, and what a Nazi is.

It would seem...
Conservative: One who believes the constitution and bill of rights has outlived its usefulness (except for the second amendment).
Liberal: Pejorative used by conservatives to describe anyone not meeting the definition above.

Conservatives have redefined many terms, such as 'liberal' itself. If a liberal asks you for a definition it's because he's educated and perceptive. He already knows the real meaning of the word, but he wants to know what YOU mean by the term.

Did you mean to say conservative? Cause I often see you people misuse socialist, communist, fascist and marxist.
Maybe the liberals are just messing with you.

Answer: They are not earnest when they ask! To liberals, words, much like the founders intent with the Constitution, are living...And they change both to suit their myopic goals and point of view.

I am an independent, and to be brutally honest with you, they win most of the so-called debates here, hands down.
The problem with the Republicans here, is all they do is repeat Talking points that are soundly defeated by reality itself.
