I am so happy, it was only a 35 minute drive ( 70 minutes total) but absolutely no sign of anxiety or panic i shopped till I dropped - brilliant! I will now go for the next stage DUAL CARRIAGE way, probably at the weekend, with my husband accompanying me first then the solo drive, if successful the final stage of driving on motorway

meditation, breathing exercises, and aromatherapy are all great ways to combat anxiety and depression.
certain aromas awaken and enliven the senses so look into it online. lavender, cinnamon, bergamot are all good.
and watch what you eat. avoid caffeine, nicotine, and sugary or fatty foods. we are what we eat, and if you load up on the bad stuff, you'll come crashing down very soon after.

Both are states of mind. Control is possible by regulating breathing and by meditation. This meditation has no religious connotation whatsoever.
However, it is inadvisable to do this on one's own. These are best learnt from a suitable teacher one on one.
