Any kind of compassion is under this question but I will example ;
Babies, kids are surrendered by compassion of their mothers ,relatives even strangers . Everyone feels mercy & compassion for them.
If everything happened by coincidences, natural causes , then HOW was this put in our hearts ???
Is it possible this was put by causes ,,which are pretty far away from intelligence, compassion & mercy ???
( some may answer " intincts" but WHO is stimulating instincts? )

Im planning to get lip pierced onf riday a little stud not the ring but anywayz.. im TERRIFIED of needles lol and i just wanted to know HONESTLY does it hurt? or what? i always work myself up for something and at the end im like.. uhh that wasnt bad at all!!!!! and if i get a stud can i put a ring in it down the road?

We broke up about 2 weeks ago and have kept in touch via text. We met a week ago for the evening (there was hand holding and a kiss). Shes coming over in 7 hours and im feeling a little nervous. We broke up because she wasnt happy with the way i treated her (i was overly anxious/jealous and it got to the point of making her unhappy. I have been seeing a doctor about this and feel a lot better. So i guess my question is what is the best way to act tonight, im going to be "myself", but i dont want to appear too forward or not interested. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I went to an assemblies of God church for a few months. Now there's a group of lunatics.
They also love to "speak in tongues". That means they become 'possesed' with the Lord and speak in tongues.
The little old ladies fling themselves on the floor and you can see up their skirt, so they have special little 'shawls' for them when they are having convulsions due to 'possesion' from the Lord.

What's up with them shaking and rolling around on the floor with convulstions or becoming 'possesed' with the Lord?

The other day some guy from the church broke a chair in a "fit of joy" and it was perfectly OK.

Are they all on drugs? o_o

i dont see why people are so confused about what the bible says. even if you DO read the king james translation, (which by the way, the dialect in king james is dead) its still relatively cut and dry. and if you dont get king james, try the simplified bible, or the new world translation. for gods sake people, wait, no for your own sakes, READ IT!

Ok, so I asked a Christian friend, "if a perfect and completely good god exists, why is there evil?".. he says it is because if there were no evil then man would not truly have free will because he would not have the option of acting in an evil way. If god took away all pain and cruelty then he would also have to take away free will.

Sounds ok, but how can a perfectly good being create evil in the first place? If god has even the capacity to fathom and appriciate the concept of evil, doesn't it suggest that god is in some way evil?

A perfectly good being cannot be partially evil.... what do you think?
