Go to the Morningstar Farms website (www.morningstarfarms.com). They have a recipe for "meatless loaf" using their meatless crumbles. It's really good if you follow the recipe exactly. I've tried adding things and it doesn't come out as firm - but then again, I always had a hard time with "real" meatloaf too. LOL Don't forget to add ketchup on top during the last few minutes of baking... makes it taste much more like meatloaf than if you leave it plain. :)

Meatless Meatloaf
Ingredients
(6 servings)
1 lg Onion, sliced or chopped
1 Half Green Pepper, sliced
2 c Chopped mushrooms (or less to taste)
1 Clove Garlic, minced
1/2 c Olive Oil (for sautee-ing the above)
2 c Newman's Own Italian Dressing
1 pk Vegetarian Hamburger, Tofu Crumbles
4 c Bread crumbs (I use whatever I have
Left -- wheat, Italian --
The more kinds, the
Better)
2 cn Italian Tomato Paste
2 c Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
1/2 c Parmesan cheese
1 Egg, room temperature
Pepper
Oregano
Salt
This is a good hodgepodge of ingredients, and is quite tasty. Really good on Sandwiches!
Saute the chopped onion, garlic and olive oil in a saute skillet (at least 8"), until glassy. Add the Green pepper, mushroom and HALF the Newman's Dressing, reduce heat and continue to saute until peppers are cooked (no longer crunchy). Add seasoning to personal preference.
Preheat oven to 425*.
Meanwhile in a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs (I usually just take stale bread and tear it up into small pieces), one can of the tomato paste, cheeses and Tofu. Beat the egg separately, and add to Tofu-Bread mixture. Combine until bread is thoroughly saturated. Add sauteed vegetables and remaining Newman's Dressing.
The Meatloaf mixture should be cohesive enough to form into a loaf, but not soggy. If the mixture is too soggy, add more bread. If the mixture is too crumbly, add more dressing, or tomato paste. Tofu has a tendency to separate, so the more bread and cheeses, the better.
Spray a loaf pan with a non-stick cooking spray, and spoon tofu mixture into pan, spreading to an even level. Spoon remaining can of Tomato paste over tofu mixture, and spread evenly over the top. Bake in 425 * oven 15-25 minutes, or until juices bubble up around the edges.
Delicious as an entree, even better sliced on sandwiches. Refrigerate covered, or loaf can be frozen.
I have made this recipe and my kids, ages 11 to 22, all love it.

i think of that the individuals who make those posts ought to be trolls. Vegetarians do not consume meat. A flexitarian might. a guy or woman who's a "section-time" or "semi" vegetarian might. yet a guy or woman who's genuinely made the substitute won't. i'm particular there are people who're puzzled approximately what "vegetarian" capacity, or who come from a manner of lifestyles the place the meaning is genuinely different. That being stated, i think of they're in the minority. i think of many individuals are actual unable to conceive of a guy or woman going without meat. perhaps they like it plenty that they have got not got faith a guy or woman ought to genuinely supply it up. perhaps they want they can furnish it up, and so make up memories to make themselves experience greater useful approximately their loss of determination/mysterious scientific concern. perhaps they have frolicked with too many new, center college vegetarians, who're notoriously sanctimonious. They experience that in the event that they submit memories approximately "acquaintances" who "secretly consume meat," they're going to knock those vegetables down some pegs. that should artwork once you're nevertheless in center college, yet for grown-ups, not plenty.

they do have a recipie out there. but in my opinion it's nasty so unless she is a true vegan i wouldn't make it... I made it for my vegan final in culinary school and it looked like a brick of baked poo and tasted like it too. but i got an A on it so i'm assuming its suppose to be that way. I just wouldn't recommend it.
