My yard is swamped by day lillies. Apparently the previous owner loved them. I want to remove them so I can put other stuff there, but even the ones I dug up last fall are coming up again. Please help! I really don't like lillies--they remind me of death way too much to be comforting.

I ask this because alot of people have this idea that tattoos are supposed to have deeper meaning and all this other bs. Alot of different cultures used tattooing for various reasons, some were to rites of passages and others used them as a symbol of beauty. Why is there so much predjudice within the tattoo community over reasons behind getting tattooed?

PLEASE explain WHY we must have gun shops for the general public. WHY? I am looking for a REAL GOOD REASON. Protection?, come on! The 2nd amendment right to bear arms is ludicrous TODAY, maybe 200+ years ago but NOT today. Only law enforcement and certified security personnel need guns. Surely with gun control crazies would not conveniently buy guns, some would, many would be rejected or puzzled by the purchase process or street dealing.

target shooting? hunting? give em up like one has to give up a sport because of injury. I ruined my knee, had to give up basketball, baseball... but took up bike riding. life has disappointments. sure many crazies would find other ways but some would NOT. HOW freakin important is your obsolete civil war mentality and god damn need to shoot TARGETS!!! former NY'er I've been victim to 2 violent crimes, and I was on Bernie Goetz's side from the git. We do NOT need GUNS to protect ourselves from the govt. They stick it up our butts in ways guns cant.

Today my brother got driven into by a lorry driver from another country. He drove into the back of my bothers car and if someone had been in the passenger side they would have died. This lorry driver didnt know uk driving rules. Why are these dangerous drivers allowed on the roads? He has probably been driving all through europe.

I know I know... Sounds pretty contradictory...

One of my best friends is in the hospital with a brain tumor and I just got a call from my other best friend yesterday that he's not going to make it.

He had this cancer when he was 7 and it's come back 14 years later (he's 21 now). Something went wrong in the biopsy and long story short, he's now conscious, but extremely weak and on a respirator. Combined with the damage the radiation therapy did on his body back when he was 7, and how agressive this type of cancer is, the doctors have determined that his body just won't survive treatment. He doesn't have much time.

Anyway, I've been asked to sing at his funeral and could use some suggestions for good songs.

I'm a high-mezzo soprano who can also belt. Something I can find on karaoke would be great, but piano music is alright too.

Religious lyrics are optional. I just want a song as unique as he is.

So far, I have the song "Into the West".

I really need someone who can listen to me, who can hear out my pain, my problems and can give me attention that I need.
There was a friend who had been there for me for a very long period but now she is busy with her life, family and studies.
Now as she is not able to spend time with me like before I named her user. Bcoz she calls me only when she is free though she had put her effort to be in touch with me regularly but it was me who had told her to contact me only when she is free bcoz I did not want to be like a burden on her.
I need more of her time, I want to talk to her daily. I am not able to tell her what I want from her. I knw she wont understand till I tell her what I want, I dont want to come across as a needy person and it will be foolish of me to tell her that I want her time and her attention. I dont know how will she react. I feel comfortable only talking to her not with my other my other friends.
Now when I talk to her I feel very happy but sad after finish talking

I had a dream that me, my family, and my friend steven were sitting my living room watching tv when there was a newsbreak. They told us that a meteor was heading towards earth and they knew that it was going to make impact somewhere on the surface.

We had to attend classes to learn to deal with a situation of this magnitude. After class me and my family, and a whole community of people I have never met before were gathered by a giant hill and discussed the impending disaster. While discussing I over heard that a meteor had hit somewhere 50 years earlier and the survivors of this thought they were the only people still left on earth, and renamed theirselves cause their speech was elimnated, and had to live of the land.

We stayed at the hill for 15 minutes before leaving to stock up on supplies. My mom drove, my brother got $200, and me and my dad smoked a cigarette. My cigarette turned all tar and got on everything.

Once we got home we turned on the tv and the news warned us
