I already have two 9mth old Norwegian Forest Cats, but I didn't have a job when they were younger. Now I want more kitties, but will 2 young kittens be okay on their own? will they get bullied by my other cats?
If it makes any difference, I want to get another NFC and a Somali cat.

The owners accepted my offer and signed my contract, but the contract has to be approved by the bank. It takes up to 5 days for them to approve. My questions is--what happens if other offers come in before the bank approves? Can the owner take another offer even though they already signed mine?

If passed, will I still have the right to drink, smoke, and eat as much as I want?

My idea of rights is that you should be able to do what you want as long as you don't infringe on someone else's rights.

That said, it is obvious that taxpayers would be picking up the tab for peoples' unhealthy lifestyles in a UHC based system.

How would an individual's right to eat/drink/smoke whatever they want balance out against the rights of people who make the decision to live healthy? Should the responsible be forced to subsidize the irresponsible?

I am from New York City, and I started a business there last year. I also work a full time job in New York City that I receive a w2 for. This past month, I moved to Connecticut, and also moved my personal business to Connecticut, but I still work my regular job in New York City. My accountant only gave me vouchers to pay federal estimated taxes, but not state estimates. I also recall him telling me that if I work a regular job in New York, that all my income, including my personal business will be taxed at the New York rate, even though the personal business is run out of Connecticut. Why then did I not get vouchers to pay New York State tax? Is this a mistake?

Back when people married their highschool sweathearts they married when they were fresh in the world with not much past or history. The couple started out young together and went through everything together from the start. Now everyone waits so old to marry and end up divorced anyway. Marrying at an older age means getting involved with someone who has a past and you never know for sure what that is. If you marry someone who is in their 30's, how do you know if they have cheated on their taxes or owe the irs lots of money, how do you know what stds they might have picked up in their years of casual relationships, their situations with ex wives and obligations to children from previous marriages? Isn't it better when people marry young and begin their adult lives together rather than collect so much baggage along the way? Almost everyone ends up in a second marriage and not because they married young either, as most of they divorced guys I have met married in their 30's or 40's.

My friend was involved in a small accident happened in traffic hour; there is only minor dent and scratch damage to her car and the parties involved exchanged info and left the scene without having the police involved. But when she called the other party's insurance company for claim, she met a worried pattern: first the insurance company wanted her to drive her car to a location to get assessment instead of coming to her; then she was mailed many forms to fill without any indication when they are going to pay for the damage. What she needs to do next? Any experience to share please? My won experience has been positive in the past so I don't know what to tell her. Thanks in advance.

And do you know the laws in your state regarding guns?

Has anyone taken steps down this road recently?

I'm just curious what people think.

Thanks.

I am one of the kids that didn't get aborted and i am truly disturbed buy some of these people on here. does anybody truly care about the kids? everyone is condem the mothers for opening there legs but why don't they condemn the dr.s that won't tie women's tubes because they don't feel they're old enough? so now we can't have abortion or have permanent sterilization? What you people fail to realize is by saving this so called life you are destroying it. we (adoptee’s) make up almost 50% of the jail system, the mental hospital system, and are dealing with homelessness; You can tell me it's better to have a million of us a year destroying and killing other people because of our miserable lives when you could have done us the favor of killing us before we knew suffering? how many people think about the kids and not just the fact that their parents committed a so called sin?

If we dont impeach Bush when his term is done we as taxpayers will still be paying him a salary. I didnt vote for the lunatic and I sure as hell dont want my tax dollars paying his salary. So, I am thinking of not paying taxes anymore!!! I am sure some nice democratic IRS person or judge will side with me. What do you think?

What comes to mind? Guns? Abortion? Something else?

Seems like the two issues I mentioned are similar, in that there are deeply held beliefs on each side of both. And each side can't possibly fathom the thinking of the other, on each issue. (The old "red-state/blue state" divide, I suppose.)

So what do we do? Is there a solution to either issue? Should either or both be decided state-by-state? Are any constitutional amendments necessary?

And when is the argument in the title valid, if ever?

I'd appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.
