Accessing unauthorized web sites with web proxies is a violation of school computer usage policy. You can get suspended and/or banned from using school computers. Use school computers for school work and myspace will be there when you get home. Do you really want your teachers and school administrators knowing what you are posting on myspace anyway?

Obviously, your school will block proxies...lol. Here's what you have to do. It's a much easier method, all you have to do is copy and paste the following into your address bar.
67.18.35.242/-
Then, after that, type in the site you want to visit. Like this:
67.18.35.242/-www.myspace.com
It works. I tested it on addictinggames at my school.
P.S. I highly recommend you don't do this. If you get caught, you'll probably get banned from the computers forever and get a black mark on your permenent record.

Federal law requires schools to provide content filters. These content filters are adaptive and many schools have restricted access to myspaces as it does not fall in the realm of education which the federal funded portion of the internet provided to education requires sites access be educational in nature.
DO school work at school, and myspace from home.
As an admin for a k12 system our content filter detects and heuristically blocks proxy not originating from our intranet when a disallowed site is attempted you will see a screen as such below:
Your organization's Internet use policy restricts access to this web page at this time.
Reason:
The Websense category "Proxy Avoidance" is filtered.

tough bananas. Taxpayers pay us to keep the services intact for viable edu processes.

Dude - get a grip - all System Admins. worth their salt have BLOCKED all access to proxy servers.
Can we take school a little more serious - or can we say "suspension" for trying to use proxy servers?

No, you don't.
Your parents probably don't want you on Myspace while you're at school.
Do your work at school, and go HOME and play on MySpace.
