As a nipper, (quite a while ago now) in the 70's, I remember having condensed milk sandwiches or condensed milk poured over a sliced banana. mmmmmmmmm. Flashback to Lenny Henry on Tiswas...OOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKK!

Does anyone else have any memories of unusual childhoos=d snacks?

I loved to dip Oreos or Keebler fudge sandwich cookies into a glass of chocolate-flavored Carnation Instant Breakfast!

Back when I was a kid in the early 70's my nanny used to make me white rice with ilk and a bit of sugar for breakfast in the morning. It has been a long time and it sounds so gross but I know I loved it back then!

When we used to get home from school, my mum used to give us bread and butter with sugar sprinkled on it (to keep us going until tea/dinner time).

My brother used to get a small glass tumbler, mix cocoa powder and sugar together, then eat it with a teaspoon...apparently lots of kids at school did this as well!!

Note to Tommybear: I love Tongue, and enjoy nothing more than a tongue sandwich lavished with English mustard!!

Oh yeah! Condensed milk sandwiches were my fave!

I also liked sultana sandwiches. They're actually quite sweet!

We used to eat grape jelly with American cheese slices on white bread. It makes a strangely appealing taste, although I haven't had one in years.
