I didn't know, the other answerers say St Paul so I won't argue, but isn't it interesting that a holy man would have such an obtuse view of nature.

No, "nature" does not "show" this. Hair length for adult males and girls is merely based on cultural perceptions and not something extra. Edit: interior the Bible (the place your "quote" got here from), long hair grew to become into an illustration of being committed to God (undergo in recommendations Sampson??). that's obvious from the very sparse mentions of male or lady hair length that the assumption of adult males having "long" (in spite of "long" hair meant) replaced dramatically by using the years, yet given what the Bible says, maximum adult males might desire to aspire to having long hair as an illustration that they are chosen by using God.

Paul and it was one of the stupidest things he said too. You have to wonder if he was thinking before he spoke. Think about it, how does nature teach that? (that isn't a riddle by the way)

The Apostle Paul wrote it in his first letter to the Corinthians

Paul said that.
I agree.
It disgusts me when my head is turned by long flowing locks of what at first glance appears to be a woman when a second look reveals it to be a man.
A woman's long hair is given her as a covering, showing her submissiveness to the man.
A beautiful thing.

St. Paul.

And yet, Jesus and the Disciples are always depicted as having long hair.

But then, we made them Caucasian too, so why not.
