I am a 16 year old 5-10 male, 160 and I want to improve those 3 things(strength, foot speed and vertical.) I can touch around 9-6/9-7, as far as lifting I can only easily lift around 80-90 pounds, and I have bad foot speed. By August I'd like to be able to touch around 10', and be benching around 140-160 with ease. I plan to drop another 5-8 pounds or so by the end of march(I've already gotten rid of 20 pounds) by. My question is basically 3 separate ones:
1. How can I improve my vertical by around 5-6 inches in 5 months? Will jumping on a minitramp for 20 minutes a day itself work, or will I need to start squats?

2. How can I become stronger? I know the obvious answer is to start lifting...but with how many times per week should I be lifting, and how many reps and sets should I do to maximize my lifting ability in 5 months?

3. And then finally, what is the best way to improve footspeed?

If you can provide answers to any of these questions that would help me a lot. Thanks!!

A good friend of mine recently gave birth one week before her due date. Apparently there were complications and the child was deprived of oxygen and passed away before she was ever born.

I want very much to be supportive, but I don't really know what to say or do. If anyone has experience in this situation, it would be much appreciated. Was there anything in particular that brought you comfort during such a hard time?

I havent exactly been getting along super with my employer, I work nights and in the morning the girl that comes in said I didn't set something up that I was supposed to and asked me to correct it, I was tired and she is not even supposed to be there but comes in early and I told her "thats not my job" and then argued with her in front of customers, shes not my boss but still probably told my boss. I come in today and my hours have been cut to 6 hours per day from 8 which not many people would work and I probably will quit but im wandering if this is a way they are trying to make me quit??

were both 17. this girl has pillow fights with me, puts her photo into my phone as wallpaper, calls up my friends, even parents for jokes, even though i dont find it amusing, always laughs at my jokes, she gets very close to me, and wont move away.....and likes to touch me alot, and play with things i have. i get mixed signals though, as sometimes during the day she wont talk to me at all, cause she studies, but when were together she cant stop talking, and offering me food, and drinks, and going out places.One thing she does alot is curls up and goes to sleep for like a minute,and then wakes up, and does it again......whats all this mean???she also tells me about times when shes stressed at school and so forth....one thing thats really wierd though, she likes to know what her name is on my phone when it rings???.........need help, im from canada btw guys. I like this girl heaps, and need her to know that, cause im really scared of losing her to someone else.

I had a dream. Can somebody enterpretate it? I was with my dad and he felt like eating a snake. Then I would see a long grey snake in a frying pan. As I watched it fry all of sudden I noticed it had shed away from its skin and was trying to survive inside it. I would tell myself that it didn't want to die. Then I noticed it's tail starting to bleed and then all of a sudden it's meat blossomed. Then I saw a nice big piece of white-snake meat on my dads plate surrounded by other vegetables ready to be eaten. Then I woke up.
A few days before that my husband and I got into a huge argument and he walked out. Hasn't been back since.

I have used every type of cleaner I can think of (anti spy, virus, popup blocker, registry cleaner, system tools fixer, fire wall, defraging) but it is just way to slow still. I got it new a year ago and I am only using %30 of my hard drive. I delieted all music, pics and video but still nothing. I keep getting "not responding" on any program that I use and my high speed net conection runs like a snail. If I let it sit for a few minutes than the nonresponsive programs finally come to life and start working. The strart up and shut down are even slower and even right clicking the desktop backround takes a while to load up that little window. Last I keep getting these errors that ask me to debug but I dont know what that means. any help will be much appresiated. thank you in advance.
