My doctor said not to worry because his eyes are fine (shiny) and he is not dehydrated. This was at his 9 month well visit. He also mentioned that maybe he hasn't cried hard enough for tears to come out.

He actually didn't believe me when I told him that he didn't have tears yet. Should I be concerned?

Can I take 100mg of ibuprofen everyday for a few months or so to help my knee pain. X-rays showed early signs of arthritis int he knees.

I have a Master's Degree in Counseling and Community Psychology, and am familiar with the "Draw-A-Person" test. I was counseling a 9 year old male, and found it interesting that when he drew people (family members, himself, etc.), he drew them at the developmental drawing level of a much younger child (about 4 -- just a head, with two arms and two legs sticking out from the head. The faces only had eyes on them, not any other details--again, the steriotypical drawing of a child of about age 4.)
My guess is that this is due to his emotional immaturity, plus the social rejection and bullying he's experienced as a result of it.
He has immature reactions to social situations. His mom also babies him a lot. For example, his mom, in an attempt to help the situation, attended school with him one day (3rd grader). Instead of being mortified, he loved having her there, saying she made him feel safe.
Anyone want to weigh in on this one? Anything obvious I might be overlooking?

I have always been interested in the Jewish religion but I was raised Catholic. I am also Latina and my mother is taking it very personal that I am not following what I was brought up as. Can someone please explain the difference between the Jewish faith and Catholic faith in laymans terms because I am still learning and I would like to be able to relay the answer to my family as well.

Was pulled over for no front licence plate, have no record, licenced insured, was asked to get out of my car and they proceeded to search it, can the police or sheriffs do this for no reason, i did not agrree to it at all, in the trunk in a back pack there was a "smoking pipe", then i was arrested for that and under the infuluence, anyway they never charged me for the front licence plate, the reson they pulled me over. anyway if anyonbe can give me any info on this id be gratefull, i can not afford to have the above on my record i have a really great job and hey it was the weekend.

I cannot believe ppl! I can be friends with those I thought would stick by me, and gossip coworker works with them one time and next thing I know, those people are giving me the cold shoulder? More than what she is telling them, is how quickly they believe her? And, she keeps tryin to be friendly to me as if I can't figure this out! She hates her mother, and I wonder if this isn't some rage against me because I have some trait like her mother? Bizarre, but so is she? Why don't people just not talk to you if they can't stand you? Why make everyone else believe it too? She finds anyone who talks to me, and starts workin on them. Only 2 coworkers that stick by me....are left.....I am to the point, if anyone believes her without asking me about it, they weren't friends anyway. But, what a witch!!!!! What would you do? Would you believe something about someone without asking them?
