or do the smart thing an go to annualcreditreport.com to get a free credit report from all three of the reporting agencies. you can request one from each company every year. you can get them all at once, or do what i do and get one every 4 months from one of the companies. why spend money when the government offers it for free. all you have to do is verify some info and you're done. good luck.

Go to freecreditreport.com and just answer what they ask. You can pick from 3 credit bureaus. I think I received mine within an hour on email.
