The problem with a shooting team is that sometimes they're on, sometimes they're not. After choking on their lead vs. Georgetown (which at least was a drastic improvement over their regular season meeting), the Irish do not have a very easy draw, with a first round matchup against a dangerous Winthrop team and potentially a hot Oregon team in the second round. That said, despite the lack of a solid, dominating post game, I think ND is too good to lose to Winthrop. No disrespect to the Eagles, I just think ND wins this one. Second round, I think Oregon is seeded a little high. They didn't really put together a body of work that I thought merited a 3-seed, but then again, they are hot right when it counts. I can see ND beating them if they're shooting well, but very unlikely that they make it past the Sweet 16. In the spirit of cautious optimism, I will go ahead and say the Irish win two and make it to the Sweet 16.

U cant p.c.. 4 favorites like that to get to the superb 4, all of those communities could be precise 2 seeds. This years tourney wont be like final twelve months with out upsets. As for Notre Dame i dont think of they could get farther than candy sixteen although that's not common to predicate how some distance they'll make it with out seeing who they are going to be enjoying.

It will be interesting to see where they are seeded- probably a four seed- and who they are matched with. Hangrody is the key to this team, which may be unfair to put on a freshman, but his presense in the middle allows Carter and Falls to do what they have to allowing the Irish to get things going. If they hit threes, almost anyone is in trouble. If Falls is missing or not getting the ball, they could be upset alert. I'm guessing Sweet 16 as well.

I'ma Hoya fan and my assessment of the Irish...they can shoot, (the first half) there going to be tough, BUT they have no inside game. They have this Freshman who gets rebs and gives them some toughness...they rely too much on jump shots and when G'town started to pressure them they miss a lot of 3's. I think they'll get a 6 seed and play 10. One win (maybe), not more than 2...

i am a hgue rish fan and i say sweet 16 or elite 8 people who say they have no inside game have not seen Luke Harengody. 285 pound freshman is a beast inside. When there hot they are tough to beat.

It's too early to speculate... the bracket hasn't come out yet. You have no idea who they will play and if it will be tough or not. But if I had to guess I would say sweet 16 too.

notre dame will be the team that gets alot higher bid than they deserve.. like your tennessee of last year... i say probably knocked out 2nd round... however if they draw a team like southern illinois or davidson first round.. they better grab some tissues and watch rudy on the way back to south bend....
soo to add to this.. like i said.. notre dame gets winthrop first round.. and wintrhop is one of your teams who will be a suprise.. theres ur upset people.. like it or not

They will not go very far at all. If they make it to the sweet sixteen I will be shocked.
