If I were him, I'd laugh all the way to work....I'd laugh all the way to the bank.....I wouldn't give a rat's --- what anyone else thought about me.

There are several that one could flip a coin on and GW is one of them. I do not know that it effects his self esteem or not because he seems to be very persistent and does not lose sight of his goals regardless of the negative happenings and responses. A high approval rating would probably be enjoyed by GW but I do not think it is one of his primary goals. I'm sure he gets very disgusted with his detractors since they do not see the world as he sees it.

Well, I guess the best thing to do is to ask the 30 percent. Besides, the Latin-American countries always hated the U.S. They even gave Prez Clinton the finger, and booed him. These people just hate the U.S. because we're free and we have a decent economy and all that.
An affect on his self-esteem? Nah. I don't believe so. I really don't think he gives two hoots. In fact, he even said that one time. He also said he didn't get into this to be the most popular and he knew he wouldn't be. He's just doing what he thinks is right. He's already admitted that he's been wrong. I just don't understand what people want from him.
When it comes to Iraq...my family is there, too. And they agree with him. They just can't back out and leave them high and dry until the Iraqi military is ready. They're just about there now. Petreaus (sp) said these new soldiers (Iraqi) are doing very well, and our guys aren't far behind them.
One of my guys is in special forces. He tells me that the Americans 'never' get to see what is going on that is right. That we only see what the media chooses to show...which is everything bad. Hey, they ought to know...they are there, and I'm here. Why shouldn't I believe them.

To find out, simply do a news search on "protest" and see which world leaders come up. Bush isn't the most hated man in history. But he's quickly heading that way.

How would I feel if I was him?
Guilty, shameful, disgraceful, dishonorable, despicable.
Bush is too much of a Chickenhawk to admit that he has made a big mistake. Very big mistake. The longer he remains the "Commander in Chief" the stupider he is making himself look. He is nothing but a cheer leading drunken deserter that went AWOL. Now he thinks he has General capabilities that enable him to make wise military decisions in a time of war. He is absolutely clueless of his military strategies in Iraq and it is embarrassingly evident.
How he plans on dealing with Iran is a very frightening situation. He must not be allowed to participate in the negotiations or he could very easily turn a promising compromise into WW3. He is not qualified for the job.

Its the educated corrupt that needs to be thrown out and the educated with no common sense The protection of doctors who make medical errors that hurt the community thrown out as well .It bad for business to keep an employee in charge of others who make mistakes or demote him/her to a paper filing position .In a high profile job it the jealous that want to destroy the hard work .It the same as trade between countrys one or the other wants all the trade.

I honestly believe that I hasn't even occured to him that he might be completely off base with some of the stuff he is doing. After all, he speaks with God every day about what to do. And how are ya going to argue with God?

I hope not. He has the most difficult, yet thankless job, save that of our brave troops judging from all the whining on YA by anti-war liberal leftists. I'm just glad he does what he knows is right in spite of all the cry-babies who have never even served in the military, much less in combat.
"Part of the American dream is to live long and die young. Only those Americans who are willing to die for their country are fit to live."
"No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in its preservation."
"Only those are fit to live who are not afraid to die."
General Douglas Macarthur
United States general who served as chief of staff and commanded Allied forces in the South Pacific during World War II; he accepted the surrender of Japan (1880-1964)
GOD BLESS AMERICAN, OUR PRESIDENT & OUR BRAVE FIGHTING MEN & WOMEN IN THE MILITARY!! THANK THEM SOMETIME!!
