i am taking trinessa birthcontrol. as you read the side affects that i was having, moodiness, headaches, sleepyness and maybe some others,i was just wondering if there was a better birthcontrol to go by that dont really have any of these affects. my periods turn out fine, but after all the other things i hear of trinessa doing to your body..makes me want to switch before it happens to me. any helpers?

this is a good question for your doctor. Just because the pill one person is on is good for them doesn't mean it will be any good for you.

I take Lo/Ovral and I like it a lot. As for the mood issue I find that taking B Complex is very helpful to me. I buy mine at The Vitamin Shoppe. I would recommend talking to your dr to see what they suggest.

Take it from someone who has taken oral contraceptives for many years, you have to keep trying the different drugs to find the one that works best for you. For me, it is OrthoCept.

you can switch pills but there is no way of telling which ones you will tollerate better. all of them have effects in one way or another, after all it is messing with your hormone levels.

i love the nuva ring, ortho tricyclen- lo was good too
