Well that is a pretty subjective question but in general terms....
Because we love legs and it makes them look longer.
Because it is teasingly close to showing something highly intimate.
Because it also implies the tease of potentially easy access that stimulates the inherent herd instinct of males.
Because it implies a certain sexual appetite on the part of the person wearing it which is stimulating to most men.
Etc. etc....

Simple, Guys like to see legs. Short skirts do two very important things, they accent a great pair of legs, and hint at the rest. Even short skirts that arnt tight spark an imagination.

short skirts are the best wares for a girl if she want the guys to chase her down.guys go flat on short skirts as they look very sexy when ever a beautiful girl wears it.it can be some times too hot to handle,so if u think no one is considering u around and seems to be lost in the world of the beauties try out some good short skirts.

Well, one has to first understand sexiness. Sexiness is not showing all that you can, rather, it's strategically showing some. With the case of short skirts, firstly, the legs are featured. No man can resist looking at a pair of nice legs. secondly, the skirt is just enuf to hide the real goodies, the hunnypot. the skirt is like inviting the guy to look, but not letting him thru the door.
this drives guys insane and want more.

Well obviously men are perverts, and since men are attracted to female legs (except fat chicks legs) often they like to see them, and the only way for it to be convenient and socially except able is a short skirt and plus they can look any time of the day without feeling morally wrong.

I believe it's cause men like womens legs. Short skirts show off just about all of the legs.

I think its a combination of looking at the legs - and the hope of getting a glimpse under the skirt. Whether it is an upskirt or a panty shot, there is a lot of room for imagination.

Hey Mike, I can't speak for everyone obviously but I can tell you what my hubby enjoys about them. When we go out on date nights I always wear a micro mini skirt with 5" stilettos!
This is what he enjoys seeing me in. The stilettos always bring out the best in a ladies legs. Combine that with a mini skirt and you get to see more of their legs! If you have a great pair you should flaunt them! I do this for my hubby but if others notice them and enjoy then good for them! My hubby has always been a leg and a.. man. He loves seeing ladies legs, especially mine. I consider myself very lucky and I hope your lady does the same for you!

Men are usually very imaginative. The anticipation of what lies ahead makes short skirt very attractive. Or pray a wind might help them in their cause.

A normal straight man can't resist to admire the beauty of a nice pair of legs and imagine the possibilities. It is just art ,anything more is vulgarity. It is short enough to attract men. but long enough to cover what ever it is suppose to.
