I requested the night off, (that's 10+ hrs. off my check) -An old girlfriend had a get-together/birthday party, my eye went pink so I got some drops, the second she noticed, she goes STAY AWAY FROM ME!! (I don't blame her,) but I bought her dinner, & at the club, She ordered about 6 long islands, I payed for all of them,(like a present,) I only had about 6 mugs of bud(draft), & I was more drunk than her!- the next day she calls & goes off on me that I drink too much, & what a horrible night she had!!-(I wish I would have worked that night!)

I'm not expecting society to cater to me. But don't punish me because of a symptom of my mental illness. Also, I feel like society is harder on me than other people, which is a very big challenge & struggle for me. & a lot of people don't understand nor care about what I go through.

I'm a complete technophobe, so won't be offended if you answer in very basic terms (as if you were talking to an idiot) in fact I would appreciate it.
It's telling me I need to update, which I do, and it says update successful. But the warning to update it doesn't go away, and even though it says the update is successful, when I go into the status, it says the last update was 17 days ago. So I decide to get rid of it and get a new antivirus program - but am advised I should never install new AV programs until 1st one is uninstalled. Try to uninstall it - get an error message "caunst.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close."

So I don't think my AV is working properly, but can't get rid of it to replace it! Help!!!

here's all i can remember about the film, if you know, or could tell me what it is that'd be great.

there is a little old man walking home (i believe he turns out to be a movie critic/director or something) and he can't find his house so a younger woman picks him up and takes him home

she's falling in love

she becomes friends with the old guy

then i specifically remember the love interest stopping by but she's is throwing a party for the old guy with a bunch of his old friends

I have an online friend that has become like a best buddy over the years; someone that I would consider a true friend even though we haven't met. Problem is this person always tells me, "Hey, I am gonna be online tonight at this time, please be here" or something to that extent. He has done this several times and then never shown up. Everytime he has an excuse. At first it was fine, since it really wasn't a big deal. But then he has continued to do that over and over and I have gotten to the point where I really don't want to talk to him because of this. I just know that any of my other friends would be where they would say they were going to be, and being online shouldn't be treated differently. I feel like you should show people the same respect whether online or in person. There are actually some important projects that we work on together (we are both in the same field), and when he doesn't show up that really slows my process. So not only friend wise does he do this, but sometimes on a professional level too. I've told him over and over that if he is not going to be around or doesn't know for sure, then not to say that he is going to be. I've given him numerous chances and he has done this over and over for at least 6 months if not more. Am I overreacting? What would you do in this situation? Would you stop talking to the person? I've told him over and over about his behavior , and now I am to the point where I don't know if I am just being too picky or if I have a valid reason not to talk to him anymore, which is the way I am leading to now. Thanks all!

I am having a problem with my windshield wipers. There was a snow storm where some snow froze to the windshield. Now the wipers and fluid do still work - the only problem is they get stuck in the up position. If I turn them on, then turn them off when they are halfway up they will stop there, I have to time it right to have them stop at the bottom. I can still get by like that, but I need to get my car inspected this month and that probably wont pass inspection.

Does anyone know what this could be and how to fix it?

I have a beagle , and I have been told that beagles take alot of time to train. we've taken my dog to training classes at Petsmart but that didn't seem to help. he keeps on pulling on the leash every time i walk him and its really starting to annoy me.

In asda today, which was pretty full and annoying.
Walking with two of my young children, who were pushing the trolley
and i was steering it from the front.
There was a disabled woman in one of them electric chair things
sorry to say this but she stank, was not bothered about her appearance and just in general a tramp!
The kids happened to knock her chair trying to get past "all be it only a slight knock.
This woman says "excuse me but can you not ram my chair you stupid cow"
In a nice as possible voice i said sorry love it was the kids and it was only a tap.
At this point she started shouting "no it was you, you stupid F****** *****"
To which i just wanted to slap her in her face and tell her how bad she smelt.
But decided to just laugh and walk away.
WAS I RIGHT OR WRONG/?
