Just said he will be cheering the loudest for Bonds to set the home run record. This guy is a tool and I hope he has his worst year ever. But playing in Wild Card 2006 Detroit, no one will go to watch anyway, so who would notice...

I guess our we learned two things today
1) Tiger fans can see the future. You seem to "know" a lot.
2) Tiger fans who don't feel bad about losing the World Series, but feel they are happy to just be there - that is why you are losers. Did you forget about how you almost were the biggest colapse in history last year? Time will tell, but all signs point to the Tiggers being a one hit wonder...

Of course he is. If racist Steroid Bonds can make it to the HOF, then Steroid Shef thinks he has a shot at it as well. Personally, I'd like to see racist Steroid Bonds go to jail.

I disdain anyone who roots for the chemically enhanced athlete including Sheffield if he did in fact say that. He is entitled to his opinion as are you about the Tigers. I saw the Tigers make minced meat out of a superior Yankee squad last year so I can't agree with you bout the Tigers. Sheffield has a big bat and can only make the Tigers into the Division Winners this year.
What place did the Whinny Sox come in?

"WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Sounds like the typical whinny sux fan....always crying.

Just to give you aheads up,
Gary Sheffield is healthy and will have one of his best years ever.
It doesnt matter what Sheffield says to the media, it's how he plays on the field that matters. Any REAL baseball fan would know that.

Wild card or not, The Detroit Tigers still made the WS last year (after losing 119 games in 2003). To me, that shows determination and strength. Yeah, The Tigers lost the WS. Big Deal. That will only movate them to do better in the coming years.

It's funny that 2005 was a fluke for the chicago whinny sux. It took what? 88 years in between their world series wins?
In the 88 years in between the whinny sux WS wins, The Detroit Tigers have won 4 World Series (1935,1945, 1968, and 1984). At least it doesnt take The Detroit Tigers 88 years to win.

Also, what I find very funny, is that even though the whinny sux beat up The Tigers in 2006 (winning 13 of 19 games) the whinny sux STILL DID NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS! What does that say about the whinny sux? that they SUCK! ha ha.

Put that in your pipe, and smoke it!

Excuse me bozo but Sheffield is entitled to his opinion just like anyone else, including you. I don't happen to agree with him. I think Bonds is a low life scum bag who belongs in jail. However, Sheffield is a future hall of famer, certainly if he reaches 500 home runs. He was a great pick up for the Tigers and will have his usual decent season. How would you like it if everyone wishes that you have a terrible year? Grow up.

another jealous whinny sux fan...
do any of you guys ever get sick of the sound of your own voices?
sheff and and the tigers will kill anyone they play aganist this year..the tigers have learnt their lessons from last year and are now more focused than ever..believe me, tigers will be world champs this year..and where will the whinny sux be?..no-where even near the play-offs thats where!..its true, there s no shame in losing, only through loss can you realise there are improvements to be made, and we have improved.
sheff is on his way to the hof..who on your team can say the same?
tigers are the superior team..but, as always, whinny sux fans are
too blinded by jealousy to see it.

GO TIGERS! GO TIGERS! GO TIGERS!

The White Sox are the real tools. AJ in wrestling, AGAIN. His baseball skills are as fake as wrestling. See your team in the cellar, looking up at the division it's going to be Twins and Tigers again. I'll admit that Sheff is a "head case"; but Leyland knows how to control him. Sheff also has skills unlike anyone on your team!

It is obvious you are two genes short of an igneous rock. Your question and additional details section match up like clown suit and an Armani. This tells me that you were really not looking to ask a question at all but merely making a slam.

It is highly unlikely that you can even ask a question without help so please finish growing yourself in a fish tank. Let’s keep Yahoo! Answers to intelligent and provocative thought.

In the archipelago of lucid thought, you hit a rock with your cranium. Take two suppositories and call someone else in the morning.
